Car is almost ready. All the internals are done, port/polish head. Problem is that I'm doing a lot of stuff along with it (ie. oil cooler, remote oil filter kit, hopefully cams). Like all rebuilds, the price has blown way out of what was planned. It should be ready the CRD dyno day early October. I hurt my left hand so I'm not able to drive manual cars much anyway. How much is a Q45 TB btw.? The car has been up on stands for quite a while now. T.

Well let's be honest here. New injectors are $1,000 however you wanna cut it. You might be able to save a bit by getting a custom rail and non Japanese units but it's the same sorta fish no matter how you cut it. I've said this to Jim before, 2nd hand injectors are just that. Maybe they require cleaning etc. In that case I'm willing to go to $525 via dd no problems. That's a reasonable gamble IMO. T.

Hmm... This will take a while and be reasonable expensive. So what I say? It's more like how long your car's gonna be off the road. I would think this requires a prime, several coats, clear coat and maybe some bakes in an oven to 150 degrees (yeah I've been looking into this at work). I'll ask a painter about this. T.
