  1. I'll register my interest. Dammit I'm turning into a RYC-80Y... T.
  2. I'm getting a "C's" off dave. T.
  3. Motor is still on the stand T.
  4. Thanks Jordan for the info. T.
  5. I did a full port polish IN and EX on my head and it is a beautiful thing, ie. smooth looking ports. Was less expensive that I thought but then I had to pull in some favours. T.
  6. Prob. is EGT is expensive. Maybe $500 for an Apex'i EL. Maybe $300 for an Autometer. The 900-1,500c sensor is expensive. T.
  7. It's Japanese time bro. E=MC^2 When you run f00l seek times, the real world slows down but time in the Skyline cabin speeds up. Pay attention in physic class. T.
  8. There's a number of aftermarket VL commodore pistons out there. However NO-ONE knows how they behave in Skylines. The number of people I've called up about VL pistons have all said the same thing. IN THEORY it works, in practice??? T.
  9. Well $600 is the most I'm going. Thanks man. T.
  10. Tell me how much you're looking for. T.
  11. The Tilbrook one looks good. But it ain't Jap T.
  12. You lose a metric meter of cooler piping. On a GT-R, I dunno. But on a GTS there must be some physical and 'in the pants' difference since you lose so much piping. T.
  13. I might call Justjap or my Nissan dealer and see if they have the blue ones. I like dem T.
  14. You need a custom flange to fit a 2530 to an RB25. IMO it is THE streetable/economical choice for RB25 motors. Two of them live in the legendary Mines R34 GT-R. 'nuff said. T.
  15. Just air saw the bastard... T.
  16. This is one thing I never understood. Why use metal piping? Why not use an insulator like PVC? Surely metal transmits most heat. T.
  17. The air velocity means it's rather irrelevant. T.
  18. I'm about to wash it for the third time (in eight months). T.
  19. what about WRX's? LOL T.
  20. Go to the Forced Induction forum. Out of all the intakes I've seen, only the Mood and Subzero ones were passable. The one in a friend's r33 looked good but it was a one off design. In light of all these hassles, I'm going Japanese and that's the Trust/Greddy plenum. T.
  21. The Trust plenum cannot be faulted as far as I'm concerned. Look at the people here who've had good results in big power cars... Andrew, Brett, Phillip. And then we get onto the GT-R users. It's a winner. T.
  22. Why didn't they do this last year? Why are they being so painful now? T.
  23. Has to be less than $184... T.
  24. AFAIK the Trust plenum is ~$1,000 from a number of sources. I'm still arranging to get one. The rb25det adapter is $100 more. I think Philip is saying the z32/q45 adapter bolts straight onto the plenum (ie. no adapter plate needed). So your $100 is better put towards a new TB. How much is a TB btw.? T.
