  3. This is kinda strange as Nissan Australia do supply parts for the RB25DET which was NEVER sold here. IMO with the help of the MX5 clubs, parts and support would be absolutely no problem. Buying a 1989 MX5 would be a much safer bet than say a 1989 R32 GTR. T.

  10. A Q45 powered Skyline would be something I would particularly enjoy. Deep down I do not like turbos. I am a knuckle dragger at heat liking Corvettes and TVR's and the like. If someone can shove a 4.5 into an r33 GTSt, I'd like to see it. I would not do this to an r32 GT-R V-Spec though... T.

  14. The 2JayZee is a Supra motor. Similar specs to the Supra version. IMO the Aristo bodied GS400 with a TT 2JZ-GE or a 1UZ-FE v8 and a Getrag 6 speed would get me out of Skylines completely. T.
  15. Some lazy arse compliancers send forget to slap on the compliance plates. People have had to pop rivet their own plates on. T.
  16. Do you know what the problem is??? Good labour is expensive. Look at the head. It's 24 valves. I'm getting charged a fair rate IMO because my head (metaphorically speaking) is a bit farked. I've got some higher quotes for a simple four cylinder 16v head. T.
  17. IMO there's not much to upgrade to. It's either an r33 GT-R or an r34 GT-t sedan. I do like 4 door sedans to be quite honest but I only like cars like the BMW M5 or 535i or Commodore SS or Falcon XR6T. But they all have their problems. The r34 GT-t satisfies my four door lust. In some ways I like the Stagea too. I find all non attessa 4wd systems to be just inferior. What can one say about the GT-R??? I think the Silvia is not an upgrade to the Skyline GTS. I find the cabin less impressive, the chassis less impressive, uses the same fuel, same sorta power, mods are slightly cheap... IMO more of the same problems as the Skyline but lesser. I am fussy about cars and ATM the GTS is it. If you can name something better that's not a GT-R I'd like to hear it. T.
  18. 600hp is 447kW. At the crank that's a damn lot. I would imagine 660-740cc would be better but then your car idles bad. 550cc will be fine for ~450hp crank situations. btw. where the hell are you getting these prices for the cheap RX7 injectors and rails? My next choice is the Nismo 555cc and they are pretty much $1,000 delivered. Any contact for the cheap injectors and rail? Hook a brutha up T.

  20. I called them up. It's only a few bucks for a plastic VDO $3 panel. I'm gonna drive to dirty old Marrickville soon T.
  21. Castrol VMX is nowhere near as good as Redline BUT it is only a 1/3 of the price T.
  22. I need a flava. I need the torque settings for the intake manifold to the block if they exist. Some photocopied pages would be nice. Tanks, T.
  23. I personally don't like looking at the AVC-R on the run - it's a set and forget device. The temp displays on the HC are good though. T.
