  1. ohhhh but i wanna know now good thing i'm at work and i can go though the regs in detail today z-tune replica? flux capacitor? brock polerisor?
  2. That only shows the GT-R can run in S2. And the GT-R always has been in that class.
  3. i got my datalogit box to log front torque %, was going to get round to logging brake (unfortually the brake is a 24v switch) and steering angle. If the Datalogit had memory it would almost be perfect, cause i'm not a fan of laptops floating round the car at the track.
  4. on the vbox site they have a heap of input moduals, should be able to get a rpm and tps trace. wouldn't be cheap though (nothing ever is )
  5. what about the v-box mini? it looks identical to the perfomance box, but you can get a modual to put inputs from the car into it.
  6. does it have the size cast in it?
  7. from reading the guy lost 1-3-5, so you'd assume it's 1. But maybee even the R35 has a week 3rd.
  8. ohhh don't make me read the bloody regs in detail
  9. oh yer! but appart from titanium exhaust, and a hole saw i can't see anyway we can get the car down to 1386kg might have to get one of these bad boys http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/power-extreme-ti-r , bloody AUD has put the price up, they were only $1490 delivered 6 months ago
  10. i've been told they (white hot) will hire the dyno out to a tuner for $150 an hour, but that was a few years ago. Just tell Brad to hurry up and get his
  11. Brad does a good job. You just need to tell him all the stuff that's been done to your car, and what you want/don't want done with it and you won't have any problems. and how that's not slander i'll never know.
  12. Tassie white posts arn't very stong, so the car should be fine. Congrats to the Vandenburgs who drew with Longhurst for 1st in modern. And of corse congrats to Ben, Russ, and Kel
  13. I recon, it was bloody cold and wet today. And the west coast loves to rain
  14. Ben and Russ has a minor off today, and the running-people-over bonnet popped up. Looking at the car you wouldn't know it had been off the road (now the bonet is back down). Appart from that they are going great, just wishing for r comp tyres, the std ones are quote "shithouse"
  15. i got g7's on mine only 18x9 though
  16. that's not the same evo then ended up on it's roof in targa is it?
  17. Porsche are claiming r-spec tyres (semi slicks)....which arn't avalible for 20". And even if they did pull a swifty and put the Prototype RE55's on, you would be able to hear them screaming (they have realy bad road noise)
  18. Hooray the new Targa regs are out. Look's like we'r gunna need a hole saw to get some weight out of the car now

that'd be bloody right, i got my car going again too (had a dead igniter last time out)
  20. I should be up at savage river getting some happy snaps on Sat. Anyone from Launceston want to come?
  21. but your de-activating it?
  22. I havn't driven a car with floating hats, but our Targa car dosn't have them (does have knock-off valves though). And I don't have them on my car eather (got 355mm dba 5000, with porsche 6 pot monoblock). Now i've got a big master cylinder in my car i barly have any knock off. And the Targa only gets knock off in long, down hill stages. A guy with a 997 turbo goes to our track days, and he just put brembo floating hats on, and he said the only diference he noticed was they were noisy. But that's only at super sprints, are you planning to do more than super sprints?
  23. The latest TT/AASA regs arn't even out yet which makes it even harder.
