  1. you notice the chopper didn't follow us like it followed the leaders, was pretty cool to drive under it at that altitude. If you turn Queenstown to high quality, you can see kids running accross the road at around 3:20
  2. got some good clips up now Queenstown Liena Mt ClaudeTT: A whatletic converter?
  3. I enjoy the extra sleep from a higher starting position
  4. Here is the clip .I've got heaps of video of us not crashing that i'll put up during the week. Almost ran over a dog on Gunns Plains, and a Kid on Queenstown, kids on stages is pretty worrying.
  5. The R35 ran over a rock on the sidling and punctured 2 tyres, and they couldn't find appropriate (legal for Targa) sized spares.
  6. Targa site was nice too us, I put the car off on Mt Arrowsmith. Right 5 tightens to a 3, I was on the brakes, and as it tightened to a 3 the wheels locked and off we went. Very hard to take your foot off the brake to correct it , was pretty pissed at the time, and even more so once I found out how well we'd gone on the 2 previos stages. But you live and learn, still had a ball for the rest of the event. Hope to be back next year. I'll put the footage of it up soon.
  7. Our car is doing well, lost a vacume pipe on the prolouge, so we were only running 0.6 bar, all fixed now . Day 1 went good, appart from dad knocking his intercom mic off on stage 4, but it stuck back on now. pic of dad having fun at beconsfield
  8. I have GTR in Tas, havn't got round to put them on my car yet.

  16. I doubt Jim will go back to Nissan, he's too involved with Porsche in things outside rallying.
  17. I voted trackday, but any get toether would be good.
  18. I think i'll be to pov to make it down
  19. didn't the whites have a heap of trouble with the 4wd and abs?
  20. are you driving the R34? Oh I feel so sorry for you
  21. Might go down if I can be bothered
  22. who's coming? it's on the same day as DA and TSS so I don't think it will be a huge turnout. Dad and I will be there, I got brakes so my car will be there, no stealing cars for me http://lcct.org.au/
  23. Stu Benson (tech reg guy for Targa) has told me that cars are alowed to run wheels that were option parts. The R32 GT-R had 17x9, and 18x9 wheels as an option from the factory. R33's had 18x10 optional wheels from the factory. The old CAMS regs had the option rule in there somewhere. Best bet is to email Stu. Just found the regs. 301.9 http://www.targa.com.au/Competitors/Regula...icalGeneral.pdf dosn't say anything about wheels though?
