  1. That's exactly the post I saw ages ago, good work digging it up Dan! I'd love to respond to your last post as well, but just sat down at desk and brain is FAR from functioning correctly after dealing with Canberra's useless f**khead drivers in the rain on the way in lol
  2. "Deposit" in your "PayPal" eh?
  3. But by ours I'm sure you'd put up a hefty fight hahaha
  4. I find from certain angles I seem to judge the depth based on the angle of the top of the thigh - which is parallel in Dan Green's pic, however this is only because of the sizeable quads haha
  5. I actually thought this when I first saw your posts. Dead serious.
  6. If I were eating a lot more, it'd be because I've committed myself more to the overall lifestyle. I definitely see and agree with what you're saying, it's just right now I'm not prepared to make the time to do it "right". For me right now, the "right" way is significantly less sustainable than paying a silly amount of money for the food. I'd go crazy after a week, my interest in even bothering to continue with any of this lifestyle would drop drastically, and ultimately I'd wind up with much worse results than taking this "shortcut" I've done the whole meal preparation thing before - properly. It was good, but it took more time than I've got (or am willing) to spare right now. Was easy as hell given I was unemployed at the time lol...but ultimately I'm choosing a more enjoyable lifestyle routine over a more productive/efficient/dedicated (or whatever word you want to use) because I know in 2 months time I'll still be going strong with it rather than having burnt out in a week or two and hate myself. Plus I currently have enough disposable income to afford it...before you say I could be spending that money on something more useful or saving it - that ain't happening either As one of my good mates once said - "anything you're not prepared to sacrifice to achieve your goal, is something you desire more than your goal". There's nothing wrong with this, as long as I realise this is the case...and I do - I'd rather hold on to the little free time I actually have in order to enjoy my life in the short term.
  7. Making them feel like shit just ensures they learn that lesson. We're quick to jump up and down with our pitchforks when some f**king clown does something dumb and negatively affects other innocent road users, yet if I dare ridicule the same f**king moron I get told off for it because he got away without hurting anyone else? f**k that. Just because nobody else was involved, does NOT make it any less of a f**k up. Hypothetically speaking, what if the driver did exactly the same thing (and I mean EXACTLY), only in this situation another road user or pedestrian was involved and didn't get out scratch free? Hmm? Would I be allowed to tear the driver a new one then? I'm sure I'd be joined by most of you on here ranting about how much of an idiot he is. So why should the fact he was LUCKY have any bearing on my opinion of his actions? Again, f**k the driver lol
  8. A mistake is misjudging a blind corner while driving normally. Doing something blatantly stupid in such a busy (time depending) place of your own accord and f**king it up is well more than a simple mistake. Doesn't make us better people at all lol, but I fail to see how they deserve anything but a public mocking for their stupidity. Will teach them more of a lesson than "You made a silly mistake, don't do it again" .... "I know mate, won't happen again. Next time I'll take it in 2nd." People need to be made to feel bad for doing something stupid, otherwise they'll just make the same mistake again. That, and I don't give 2 shits for their feelings in these situations lol. Like I said, I'd fully expect to receive exactly what I'm dishing out should roles be reversed.
  9. Happeh birfdai Dan! har har
  10. I have no sympathy for ignorant stupidity. If I did it myself (and I've done similar things, just without any negative outcome), I wouldn't expect anyone to feel sorry for me. Hell, I wouldn't expect anything short of outright ridicule and public embarrassment. HAR HAR HAR I say! lol
  11. I'd rather put it into groceries too haha....I just quite honestly can't afford the time and effort it takes to do it properly myself right now, and I'm not prepared to make the time so I can spare my own sanity. Plus these days if I'm left to look after myself, things don't really go as smoothly as I'd like lol. I have a habit of convincing myself things aren't that bad plus I dead set take too much sugar in without even meaning to...no idea how that works lol
  12. $10/meal. considering the very good majority of people in say The Wasteland whorethread seem to buy their meals every single day, I'd say it's not that bad at all. show me a cheaper option that's just as good and doesn't require I do anything other than pick it up on my way home one afternoon each week, then chuck it in the microwave to prepare it Also these meals taste much better than anything of the same calibre of "clean and healthy" that I could be f**ked cooking from scratch myself. If I have to cook clean and healthy shite, it'll be the most boring crap and every meal will be exactly the same. I'm more prepared to spend $30/day on pre-cooked food than go back to dealing with that shit lol
  13. http://musclemealsdirect.com.au/ Also that's awesome! I'm fairly sure it was maybe a tiny bit over $50 or something, which we pretty much have covered. Once we work out where to get it done, I guess we can sort out cashola haha
  14. LOOOOOOOOOOL sucker. f**king clown.
  15. Excellent. Anybody actually know off hand of a company that does this kinda testing? I know I saw it somewhere the first time this topic came up ages ago, but I can't seem to remember where I saw it exactly.
  16. I'll chip in like $10 for the testing, anyone else?
  17. It's in Hobart. So no, not really lol If it were Sydney or Melbourne, I'd be keen as to make a weekend of it
  18. Calves would probably get the tiniest workout during squats, otherwise yeah as Markos points out I'm not surprised they don't bother with them. Given each muscle group only needs to be strong enough to support the others during each respective lift, calves etc would be getting their required workout simply from squats/deads. Markos can confirm or tell me I'm a nutcase, but the way I see it is that isolation exercises are almost exclusively for aesthetic benefit. If you can complete your goal rep range on your compound lifts, then every muscle group being activated is obviously up to scratch for the task. The only specific work I could be arsed giving my calves comes from walking around my work building on my toes, lol
  19. I like the fact BN have previously said anyone is welcome to show up at their mixing "factory" (or whatever you'd call it) unannounced, and be taken on a quick tour of the place to see EXACTLY what goes into each product. Goes to show they don't bother with fillers like skim milk powder as some of the other companies may be doing haha
  20. What's the video of? can't see at work I reckon more volume is just a good way of expending more energy and breaking down muscle a little bit more, without requiring more effort* *by effort I mean the more scientific definition, which I can't seem to put into words

  22. One thing about it that stumped me (though undoubtedly the common sense answer will prevail here) - when adding more weight, do we revert back to a default number of reps and sets? 3 session example on squats below: Session 1: 100kg, 3 sets of 10 reps Session 2: 100kg, 3 sets of 12 reps Session 3: 105kg 3 sets of 10 or 12 reps? Probably requires more than 3 sessions in the example to get my meaning across, but if we constantly add more reps/sets when we can't add weight, what do we do when we DO add weight? Revert back to the original number of reps/sets but with a new increased weight? Or do the same amount of reps/sets as the previous session. I guess I'm just saying it's not logical to increase volume indefinitely, so surely there must be a reset when some requirement is met
  23. Not when my commitments change more than a female changes her mind lol I'm struggling to stick to anything coz I dead set do not have the time (I'm willing to use) for organising my food properly. I HAVE the time available, but it's my only free time which I'd much rather put towards something enjoyable to keep me sane. Requires sacrificing things I'd rather not have to, so this is much easier. MUCH easier.
  24. Just finished my first muscle meal thingo. Yep, sold on this one. In b4 haters and people pointing out I'm wasting my money etc etc. Cry me a river.
  25. Hahaha awesome lol
