  1. Here we go - (no I'm not quoting anyone except myself) "Cardio will not make you fat; RELYING on cardio exclusively will eventually lead to becoming fat" (since you're not doing anything to raise your BMR by building muscle)
  2. That's why the last few pages of this thread f**ked my brain sideways - stop taking everything written by him as absolute gospel and law. Cardio should not be the basis of your "fat burning" exercise. If you want to lose fat, and you exclusively rely on cardio to do so, you will almost certainly bounce back to putting the fat back on when your body adapts to be more efficient. But just because you shouldn't rely on cardio to burn calories, does not mean it should be cut out. Consider it a supplement.
  3. And there's nothing wrong with eating them - but if you cut them completely, or as some prefer/recommend, swapped them for more nutritionally beneficial sources of carbohydrates - you'd get better results. Like I hinted at - Markos doesn't preach methods that he believes to be decent; he preaches methods he believes to be the BEST. Whether they are or not is up for debate, but as far as he's concerned if you don't cut things he advises to cut, or you don't follow his programs to a tee, you aren't going to achieve the best results possible.
  4. Wouldn't it just be along the lines of "Eat f**kloads of clean food, continue to avoid sugars and processed shit. Lift heavy, lift more."
  5. I'm confused as to how this confuses you.
  6. Think he means white rice more specifically....and as Markos has pointed out previously, his methods aren't "good enough" - he believes they are the best. By this I mean sure you can keep eating white rice and bread and still cut fat, but if you got rid of those things you'd get even better results. This is also my mentality - f**k the middle ground, go all out.
  7. It is, but doesn't look anything like what you usually see with flat brim hats. I f**king HATE the (stereo)typical flat-brim cap wearing f**kwit. Way too many of them around here given all the easily accessible dirt bike trails near my place.
  8. That was the best thing ever. Loved it. Here, do as you please...
  9. Tempted to photoshop my face into that pic.... nahh hahaha
  10. hahaha I was trying to get in yo face But nah seriously, even though I don't follow those methods myself, the Birds' ideal is very similar to what Markos speaks of in that newsletter - just eat clean whole food and be done with it.
  11. Let me save Markos even more time, lol FARKEN CLICK ME AND READ ME AT LEAST SEVEN FARKEN TIMES KGO!!!!
  12. Forgot I spotted THE-34T on Sunday in QBN at the intersection with the Shell and Caltex servos on opposite corners. I think I was on my pushy at the time lol
  13. lol nobody in particular, kinda everyone that posted in the last page or two asking the same question over and over when the answer shouldn't need to change from the original post the question is referring to.
  14. And here I was thinking that I was the best at digressing onto repetitive topics and making threads as retarded as they could possibly be....I must say, I'm impressed.
  15. Will the SS4CBB VNT fit on my VW Caddy 1.6L TDi? Cmonnnnnnnnn
  16. LOL god no! No where near that level of nasty
  17. What part of it? hahaha
  18. Back on the gain train, and already in only a couple of days just about all definition I had has vanished LOL. f**king carbs and causing decent water retention for me. Meh, the 120kg bench is only 5kg away - which is next session considering I'll actually have energy again Birds will be happy to hear how much of my proclaimed "evil carbs" I'm slamming down lol....last night almost half a kilo of wedges and fried into the oven, just over a whole chicken breast pounded flat and panfried with somewhere around 100g of short cut bacon, all topped with cottage cheese and some tomato sauce. No I'm not suggesting this was particularly healthy, lol. This was only round one, which was followed by multiple skirmishes involving another half a loaf of bread and condiments. ZE GUTS, ZEY ARE CHURNING.
  19. What about the East? Since technically I'm not even in the ACT hahaha
  20. I go by calories, keeping carbs as low as I can without ruining energy levels while maintaining ~50g fat intake, and the rest protein. This works for ME. Probably wouldn't work for you (being anyone else) in the same way it does for me - it might be worse or better. Just keep poking things until you find the sweet spot. Yes, that is what she said.
  21. haha yeah I'm with you on this Birds
  22. CURLING I also agree with your point on military press with the Olympic bar. It's strange how 40kg with the Olympic bar feels much more natural than 40kg with the fixed barbells.
  23. Yeah it's excusable to use it when you've got no alternatives and can't weight around. Personally I only use the smith machine for shrugs and the occasional behind-head military press application (out of laziness).
  24. There is NO excuse for curling in the squat rack, short of wanting to curl excess of ~45kg (heaviest most fixed-weight dumbbells I've seen go to) specifically with a straight bar. The smith machines Anytime Fitness have are ever so slightly assisted, but only enough to slightly offset the weight of the bar without any plates (makes bar weight 9kg, and also makes it move much slower without weight)
