  1. I love it mate, at first I didn't think it was very good because I was getting terrible fuel economy but Andrew retuned it and now I'm getting about 500kms to a tank. It all comes down to the tune in the end.
  2. Well after speaking to Andrew at Hyperdrive I decided to go with NIStune; Andrew tunes it.
  3. I was looking at getting an Emanage about a year ago, but same story; the information on them sounds really good but as soon as you speak to a tuner they tell you they are rubbish. In the end I decided that if they are going to be the ones tuning the thing then I would be wise to get something that they were comfortable tuning. Best to choose a tuner first, then choose the ecu that they recommend to you. No point having a fancy ecu (which compared to others, the Emanage is not) that nobody wants to tune.
  4. Do they actually have any genuine Jap wheels?? ^^^ I know they have wheels like G-Max and Oz Racing and things, but I didn't see any Jap brands when I went in there.
  5. Well power has nothing to do with the number of turbos or superchargers you have, you can make 1000rwhp from just a single turbo. The point of the quad charge is self explanatory... Peak power is at 4000rpm, and I bet those turbos wouldn't be working as hard as a single to make that power. Don't forget that when you supercharge, you have to sacrifice power to make power.
  6. 700awhp @4000rpm So it probably goes alright then.
  7. Fkn Danny's notes on his wheels hahahaha
  8. Go to Tyre Power in Osbourne Park, Lachlan there will sort you out He has the holy bible on wheels there. I've seen it. I'm a believer.
  9. Injectors and fuel pump by themselves won't gain you any power, but they will give you the fuel you need to run more boost and make more power that way. Not sure about the N1 turbos, I thought they could handle 28psi but I really haven't looked into it, only heard someone mention it. Some of the other guys on here will be able to tell you more
  10. I'm running 14psi on my stock Neo turbo, but I don't believe it is wise if you want it to last. I have already purchased an upgrade, so if the turbo blows it isn't going to worry me too much. That said, I've been running 14psi consistently for a good 5 months, haven't had any problems.
  11. Did you machine the head when you got the work done? I have seen an engine that was built recently, the builder machined the head and removed 10thou without realizing that the head had already been machined before. Caused piston 5 and 6 to slap against the head, sounded exactly like a noisy lifter.
  12. Either 52mm or 60mm will both fit, both will need a little bit of customization though. Get 60mm, they are easier to see. For the A-Pillar pod, I wouldn't use anything except a GReddy holder, they are the only ones that fit well and give a factory look. Can get them from JustJap, or Clint on here (username monga).
  13. +1 ^ You know what often causes problems? Motors. Let's rip that out just to prevent having any problems with it.
  14. Electrical problem doesn't sound like your alternator. Alternator is charging fine anywhere from 13.8-14.5v, so you've got no problem there. If the battery is dying after you turn your car off, I would be checking that there is nothing draining your battery. My money is on your battery being shot. Also, don't always trust tests on a battery saying they are fine, it is quite common that the battery is shot and the test gets it wrong.
  15. Yeh I know most injectors require a spacer, I was expecting to have to use a spacer, but 1cm is huge. If they fit, it's going to be very very close to hitting the plenum. Should be able to work something out though. The seller said he was selling his car so he wasn't going to bother upgrading the injectors. He never installed these injectors in his car, he bought them and had them sitting around for a year before he decided to sell his car along with all the mods he had planned for it. Which is why the Sard boxes made me curious. As well as the fact I got them so cheap when they are basically brand new. I just wanted to know for sure what type of injector they were, not that I was putting some crappy Chinese rubbish in. The boxes are very faded and worn as well. I'm not normally paranoid, but with my fuel system I am. Not all people are out to rip people off, but some are, so I thought it better to be safe than sorry. I had no intention of buying second hand until these came along, the guy seemed genuine and I got them really cheap so I couldn't go past them.
  16. Lol, no worries Well thanks again to Oz for helping me out; it seems I may have hit a snag. Will go and discuss it with my tuner tomorrow, but unfortunately these injectors are a far bit bigger than the standard GTT injectors so it doesn't look like they will fit. Everything else is the same, plugs will fit, injectors will fit into the rail... But the rail is going to require a rather large spacer to fit them. Does anyone know how large a spacer you can use on the R34 rail before it fouls on the plenum? These injectors look like they are going to require around 1cm to fit...
  17. Very possible ^ Haven't ruled it out. I am hoping to drop in to snozzles today to find out if they will work
  18. Could always get custom piping made, custom is always better than generic
  19. Lol yeh I'll wait to find out for sure, as they are top feed high impedance. Fingers crossed they fit my rail and will work, otherwise expect tears in your shop Oz
  20. Again slightly different serial number, but that picture looks almost exactly the same as the ones I have... So I think they are from a WRX But who would buy 6 injectors for a WRX, that's just stupid...
  21. I. Am. So confused. I'll just bring them to Oz to figure out lol, evidently there are soo many injectors that are similar to these ones. All I want is lots of fuel in my engine lol
  22. I think I will have to, so confused about what these are lol. I'll PM you man.
  23. That looks more like them... Part numbers are similar, but that says 101 87094 4F15. Mine say 1001 87094 8H18. If that is them... WRX Injectors. f**k sake. Why do people have to lie to me
  24. Shit, so they are R32 injectors? Fml... They have four holes on the bottom though? That says 2 hole...
