  2. So he didn't try tuning it because it was lean? Am I right in saying that a tune could stop it running lean? A stagea ecu in an r34, the injector multiplier is probably out causing it to not get enough fuel. And on idle it would be running on closed loop so it would stil idle on 14.7... But either way I'd get a new fuel pump, as maintenance if nothing else...

  4. If the rod falls off it won't go infinite boost, it will go no boost... Waste gate will just always be open and it'll drive like absolute shit.
  5. fine with no throttle, fine with normal throttle. It's just that really low almost like resting the foot on the pedal kind of throttle. When i say lean i mean about 17-18:1 14.7 with low throttle, 20+:1 (no fuel) with no throttle. But just the interchange between throttle and no throttle basically. using NIStune with seimens deka injectors
  6. as soon as you go over the stock AFM limit and go Z32 it all becomes a bit pointless anyway doesn't it? for the picky bastards who want to do ya on something, they will right?
  7. what about the minimum injector pulse width? I've adjusted my lag time to work well, but when I'm say cruising on a slight down hill, and only slightly touch the accelerator, i get spluttering, i watched and noticed my AFR's leaned out in this situation. Am i correct in thinking it's got more to do with minimum pulse width than injector lag times?

There's pod filter under the air box... which has almost no plastic left in the bottom of it Of course if they go looking hard enough you'll always cop a defect, but my thoughts are keep it looking stock enough to give them less of a reason to go looking any further... sorry to thread hijack Stao
  9. Well my stock NEO turbo made 214rwkw on 11.5 psi... dynodynamics... That's a LOT better than 180...
  10. OK here's the post i started last page and got interrupted. Hanaldo, hang in there! Take Stao up on his offer to send you a working tested turbo, swap it over yourself. drive it in to the dyno and get it tuned. If there aren't any more problems, and the tune is half done already then it shouldn't take more than 2 max hours on the dyno. As for the power, I have an ATR43G2 .82 making PULP 270rwkw with boost dropping down to 15psi, E-Flex making 290rwkw with boost dropping down to 13.5 psi. I didn't even bother with setting my boost controller up on E-Flex to hold it higher... All on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno. And about your statement about buying this turbo for it's bolt on and concealiability. Here's a couple of pics of my engine bay. Remember this is a 290rwkw engine bay. So yes you can make this turbo look very stock.

  14. Yeah its mine, cheers. Just GTR wheels, gtt spoiler. I imagine it would run rich as fark and hit r&r with very little boost. Although I hasn't googled what that turbo is, so it's anyones guess. But it'll drive around alright as long as the foot doesn't hit the floor... Glad to hear ya have the supporting mods to go with it
  15. I can see this going badly you do realise that you will need a tunable ecu to run that bigger turbo right?
  16. police still get ya, but fixed speed cameras don't change... Can you imagine the amount of jobs we would get to re-program all the cameras around road works???
  17. You need the nistune before you up grade the turbo, you need the nistune before you upgrade the injectors, you need the nistune before you upgrade the afm... Ect.

  22. Legal? no, well very little chance of it. but that only matters if you have to go for a emisions test. that's very similar to the one i got, except mine was 1/3 the price off ebay... leboka cat i think it is
