  1. Where are you located Ryan? I have a few M35 Stagea auto transfer cases that look very similar, might be worth checking out if you are local... I doubt Nissan would change them much.
  2. I've had it out to 86, but it will do 55-60 on the flat, pedalling my arse off. 35cc 4 stroke, 100k's/L. The 8 inch travel front and rear makes for a plush ride off road, and weighs only 26kg, so I can throw it over a fence easily.
  3. I got mine back mate, coming to Lysterfield mate?
  4. Obviously the Ford one can be obtained at any 7/11 store, Nissan would be your best bet, but not sure if they are replaceable with circlips. You may need to take it to a driveshaft specialist to be machined. Can you get a pic of the uni?
  5. I recently replaced the centre bearing on my mates XR6t, the centre uni needed replacement as you need to remove it to fit the bearing.
  6. Stock looking stealth setup, stock airbox, intercooler, piping etc. GTX28's machined into -5 rear housings, twin 3 inch exhaust, Xspurt 2000's. The tune was pushed pretty hard to make that 500, but it made 480 fairly easily on e85. @ Rear wheels on Trent's hub dyno, accepted to be on par with most of the local roller dyno's.
  7. Doesn't everything to some extent?
  8. Stock 33gtr cooler can do 500+kw. I have seen it first hand...
  9. ^This used to shit me before I bought the Bride seats, and as a bonus the missus can't see over the dash now.
  10. Want to pressure test the intake too, just to make sure there are no leaks? Only need to get the airbox off, and clamp it in where the afm goes. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge to put in the fuel line Tony?
  11. If you don't clamp the lines before undoing the banjo from the stock callipers, there is a good chance you will get air in the ABS motor and these sort of issues will arise. I have bled the ABS lines myself, it just takes a lot longer as the air doesn't like going down hill.
  12. Apart from the fact he is using the stock cooler pipes in the engine bay, the HDI cooler and piping looks pretty good I thought. I have seen return flow coolers flow 400+ so I was pretty confident it would be fine... Joining the pipes for one run would prove that one I guess. The cooler pipes are 3 inch from just after the stock rubbers exiting the engine bay.
  13. Not if you removed the restrictor from the banjo hole in the calliper...
  14. Can you see any leaks at the calliper, like in between the halves? Otherwise you may need to drop the master and check the seal behind it, between the master and booster.
  15. Did you remove the restrictor in the banjo hole? Perhaps the master cylinder is leaking inside the booster? Only because the revs hunt on application... Or the booster diaphragm might be leaking.
  16. I don't think the stock ecu will like that... Or your pistons.
  17. United are still rolling out pumps, there is another new e85 servo down the road from me on Sth Gippsland Hwy near Greens road in Dandenong. Hopefully they ramp up in other states and take off where Caltex failed.
  18. United 100 octane is E10... Just sayn.
  19. So this is the cause you think? You could cruise in da onda...
  20. It could be the thrust bearing, in which case it is common. Some Late model cars run plastic carriers for the bearings which quieten the noise, but they can melt when the bearing starts to get hot. Does the noise go away when you put your food on the clutch? Could be best to get a mech or mate to have a listen, perhaps a local SAU member will put his hand up if you don't know someone?
  21. Stock airboxes and intakes have resonating chambers to cancel out some of the intake noise.
  22. No worries Brett.
  23. It is knocking on knock ears, and visibly popping black clouds at the same time. I'm sure Trent has been down that road many times, he could tune a Nistune RB in his sleep.
  24. Nothing gradual about rear mount setups, they come on just as hard as front mount. Seriously, you can't go past what Nissan have already designed, I know from experience the factory manifold is much easier than an STS kit, or GT35 in the boot. Just imagine the headaches you will have pumping the oil return back to the engine... I don't need to, I have already been there. He went back to NA because he's limp.
