  1. Probably best you pick up a S/H cluster and stuff around with that.
  2. Not really, the auto controller causes most of the gear lag. If you want it to drop down quick you need to stab the pedal, then half the time it will shift instantly. (Usually ) Have you tried manual mode? I never use auto anymore as it always wants to be in 5th... Lag city on my car.
  3. Why would you tap the calliper? Most guys just stick the 12mm bolts in with a sleeve around them.
  4. Untested as yet. I wanted it wide open on throttle, if the vac setup isn't great I might run it off TPS.
  5. I am making a similar setup, but I want it automated, so I ran a vacuum actuator. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=623719741023434&set=a.448399381888805.111313.448396628555747&type=1&theater I haven't been under an Evo 10 yet. Sorry mate.
  6. $1000 is actually fairly reasonable, Kewish auto's did mine and I paid $1200. I can do it for half what Kewish want.
  7. Considering the expansive range of performance parts on offer (compared to when I started down that road), you guys have no issues modifying the M35. You should have seen the (non existent) range 5 years ago. Price wise, the performance parts are on par with any other car imo, unless some Chinese bloke is pumping out crap products as with the Skyline...
  8. Haha, you're welcome mate.
  9. They will never make it, after they get the numbers they will want a deposit from everyone that signed up before starting on it. Good luck dealing with them.
  10. 6 x Xspurt 1000's and Proflow RB25 rail would be around $800 through me I think Mark, with all adapters.
  11. Haha, good name for a thread Toby.
  12. They are just as cheap locally, with local warranty and support. Why bring them from the other side of the world? This ^^ I hear Bosch may be using the ID stainless internal technology on a new 1700cc injector or something, it is in development I was told.
  13. Hopefully the sucker fits Alvin, I did a fair bit of cutting on that front pipe... If not I can just make a new bracket for it. How does it sound mate? I asked Grant that question after doing his exhaust and he just stared blankly at me and chuckled.
  14. The cooling system probably needs to be bled correctly, it is quite difficult to get all the air out. There are a few threads on the subject, here and in the Stagea section for M35's If it continues or reoccurs, perhaps there isn't enough anti boil coolant in the system, and the water is flash boiling in the head and around the bore. (these run 95-100 degrees on a cold day) Drain and fill with the recommended coolant percentages and re-bleed a few times once it's cold through the rear bleed point only. Obviously you would be checking the thermostats operation while the coolant is dropped, by testing it in a pot of water on the boil, and replacing the radiator cap, just in case. If you still have issues, you could have a blown head gasket... I have seen it a few times.
  15. They would be able to find a driveshaft issue surely. Where are you located? If you are in Melbourne I could get it on the hoist for a minute and check it out for you, just so you know what the issue is...
  16. Has it been tuned for the larger turbo?
  17. Same shit, different bottle. Obviously doesn't appreciate his car.
  18. Says the guy complaining all his beer disappeared...
  19. I would be interested in the airbox and stock exhaust, does it come with cats? Where are you located?
  20. You just can't tell some people. If Simon wants to be different and run Dinofuel who are we to single him out? He will come around one day, probably just after his ring lands go.
  21. Do you have proof of anything?
  22. You got scammed, a simple vehicle check would have let you know any issues with the car before purchase. If you take it back there, they will probably shaft you worse. Find a local mechanic and get them to look over it, and change the gaskets.
  23. Caster is not that critical though, as long as both sides are similar, Most cars don't have adjustment for it these days anyway. For camber, a digital protractor would be fine, even a plumb bob, lol. I bought a Trackace anyway, I will give it a test and see how good it is, at least I can roughly align customers cars after changing steering racks, tie rod ends and compression rod bushes... Gotta be better than sighting down the wheels.
  24. The only problem with the adaptronic is the cam actuation, if they can sort that out I will be impressed, it is quite complicated (self adjusting targeted PWM outputs) and the way Craig's is setup at the moment isn't satisfactory imo. Cable throttle or not, that side seemed to work just as well as the Fcon, (Just passable, better than stock)
