  1. was a worse result for Tunehouse, there XR6Turbo had alot of problems and there sti got hammered by the MRT Sti.
  2. Yeah i was having a read about that, but i think you will find some of the cars had very different rubber on thats why the times are all over the place. maybe the Jap group was done in the wet and the euros were in the dry... i was just amazed at how overpriced the mods were, esp the exhaust systems!
  3. I dont get it? why would tree huggers want to burn a car? it lets off polutions doing that, that goes against what they stand for?
  4. prob is with NA it takes so long to rev out its so slow, and they sounds like crap.. Turbo ftw everyday! I can understand liking the throttle response though of a NA, but skylines are so torqueless as it is is not going to be great anyway.
  5. You can get 3.5" oval mufflers, i have a 4" in/out oval muffler, very deep note. magnaflow make them in their race series range. All stainless, exy but.
  6. got a wave from a silver skyline in west pennant hills this arvo, didnt have time to wave back haha
  7. yep $90-100 for a few runs. But if your going to be upping the boost a few psi, it will run richer not leaner, especially if it has a new fuel pump. So checking the afr's are not going to tell you anything new, 10:1 afrs in the top end or even worse
  8. mate you dont need to baby it to a dyno lol! all your doing is upping the boost a few psi, 10psi is fine on the stock turbo and for the ecu in most cases, and it will have twice the boost in the mid range, should go a whole lot better. only thing is it will run abit rich. and the normal rb flat spots will be more noticable... tune fixes that though.
  9. i was up in Woy Woy area on sat arvo, and spotted a reallllly clean R32 GTR gun metal in colour, white and black plates, twice lol. Member on here?
  10. Spotted 2 R33's on epping rd last night, was driving with them for a few clicks, was like a skyline cruise lol
  11. lol hey man thought you got a new car when i went past on sat, what you doing with your gtst?
  12. behind a 32 GTR in castle hill, plates BEE 74F i think, looked fat
  13. BC's are great for the price and if you live on reallllllllly smooth roads. Ill be getting softer springs for mine in the near future.
  14. R33 Gts-t S2 in Nismo red! dont see many in that colour, and my plates are rare too, think thats it
  15. Liverpool exhaust, sureflow exhaust? My suggestion would be to source your own mufflers and get them to install them into a 3.5 system.
  16. yeah mate i had a shit tune from someone else so i took it to Mark and he installed a Z32 and nistune for me and tuned the car, it had alot of problems while he as tuning it, none of them his fault. He found the problem which was a partically block bov gasket that the oter tuner didnt find, once that was gone he had it a extra day to do the final tune at no extra cost and the cars been running great since. Couldnt reccomend more.
  17. not sure what it is but it looks terrible on those cars.
  18. The nylon compressor wheel isnt the problem, its the exhaust ceramic wheel, which are the same on S1 & 2 turbos. They usually blow over prolonged use over 12psi.
  19. it would, if not better it. But its from 100 to whatever that a xr6t would munch a stock turbo skyline thats what i meant.
  20. FMIC! r34 smic is shit especially if your going to be upping the boost. Get the boost set at 12psi, NGk coppers at 0.8mm, tune and tyres. Stock suspension is good for launches Still wont beat a xr6T though.
  21. well before i bought my R33 i had a 96 EF falcon with all the bolt-ons, mild cam and manual, and rolling start it was line ball to my stock R33 turbo. It had the power to do a mid 14, so without turbo no chance.
