  1. Backup, looks like someone has a bit of a persecution complex. Trade it in on a sense of humour... It's a lot more fun mate.
  2. And I thought it was just me who coudn't wipe that idiot grin off my face. Do you all make up excuses to "just pop down the road" as well?
  3. But would one of them put that same silly grin on your face?

Oh, there I go again... Sorry, that was meant to be funny, but it probably sounds a little harsh. But... maybe it's true?

He (?) is probably a Holden owner or something. Knows how to use a mouse but hasn't quite mastered that keyboard thingy.
  6. DAMN, that is nice. Looks classy as and would go like $hit off a greased shovel. Have fun toasting Moronaros with it mate. They won't even be able to figure out what just owned them.
  7. interested depending on location...

  9. ... ain't you know.. Ahh! I know, you run Linux right? :uh-huh: Yeah, yeah, that's what you mean.
  10. 17 weeks, Picked it up on Xmas Eve. How's that for a Chrissy present?
  11. Sounds good, no shirt thanks.
  12. Mine's on the car. Looks good too. Sure to make a few people look twice. Had a comment about it yesterday, someone who thinks that putting a GTR badge on would be very uncool thought that these were well done and looked "the goods".
  13. Aren't these cruises held on public roads? And anyway, if some load of bogans in a dunnydoor crash a skyline cruise and then act/drive like wankers, what is there to connect them with the skylines? My feeling is that yes it is a skyline club, surely it is up to the organiser of the cruise to REQUEST vehicle types if he/she wants to, but if someone in a "non skyline" turns up and chooses to drive along the same route as everyone else... what can you do?

  15. Easiest to match?? Do you know how many different whites there are? None of them are just white, there is a tiny bit of blue, or black, or ochre in them to make it "warm" or "cool". It needs a damn good painter to match an unknown or a faded known formula white. Anyway, My vote is in for silver, of all the colours (with the possible exception of pooh brown) it is the best at not looking dirty 5 min after a wash. Downside is that it turns into a "stealth" colour on rainy days.
  16. Well I wouldn't try welding as a repair method...
  17. oookay that's gonna take some beating...
  18. I was using BP Ultimate but now run Optimax mainly due to the 4cent/litre coles discount and I pass a servo on the way to work that always has about the best price around (even before the 4cents off). Couldn't really say that I notice any difference between the two fuels through the "seat of the pants" dyno. The BP seems to run a bit cleaner. But that is just judging from the smell of the exhaust.
  19. Depends on your stereo I guess. Does it have inputs like for a CD stacker? Can't think of any other way to do it other than the Cassette adaptor that you can get to hook up a diskman to a tape deck, quality is a bit crappy with them but.
  20. I have a '98 S2 R33 GTS25t and while I also like the 34 GT-T, I don't feel that they are worth the extra coin.I imported mine and the cost on the road was $21k. 66000km, "B" interior, couple of scratches but nothing serious. Dead Stock so probably less chance of being "pre-thrashed". Took 17 weeks from buying at auction to driving it away from the compliance shop but it is a BL00DY nice car. All the creature comfort things are high quality and they ALL WORK. Build quality is tops. Economy is not that bad, I have a K&N panel filter, HKS Super Drager exhaust and run std turbo at 10PSI and I average 12L/100km with "normal" driving . I can live with that from a 165kw at the wheels (estimated) vehicle.
  21. how much stiffer than stock?
  22. Damn straight you should...If nothing else it will give you a benchmark figure to compare to in the future after more mods. Oh and I do believe it is quite good fun too.
  23. The best way is to drain the crap out and fill it up with the good stuff. You can never trust what the previous owner had in there unless you saw it being poured in. Fifty bux is cheap insurance for your engine.
  24. Up my order to two badges. Just made transfer of 20 notes deposit. thanks
