  1. Not at all, Ben. It's just that I know of a couple of people that have tried to get it working and for the hours invested haven't seen much of a return. Like I said, I'm down for one if you can do it. Good luck to you.
  2. Put me down for one if you get it working (which i very much doubt).
  3. I heard they only used these on VVT-i versions of the 2JZ - they're not that common but if you know a decent importer they should be able to track one down. You need a matched pair of modules though. It's only one wire that you need to run on the 2J but it links to a PAIR of modules. Don't think you can just buy one from one car and one from another because they wont work together. Also, it is used to help with unwanted engine harmonics as has been suggested above.
  4. That's cool. So long as someone from EMG is attending.
  5. The website is being rebuilt and will be back soon. Sliding Performance is one of the best known traders on this and many other forums.
  6. Need to see a top-down or side on (straight across front) shot of an r33 gtst engine bay in stock condition or close to. Must have standard radiator and show distance between front of the balancer and the radiator. Need this ASAP. Thanks guys!
  7. They claimed it was a percentage better in terms of fuel economy. You read the super-fine print and it compares a diesel captiva against a petrol territory. Yeah, real fair!
  8. What's the story with media accreditation for this event?
  9. Some of Stu's handywork.
  10. The Galant is a heavy bitch. This will be a lightweight.
  11. You should know whether they will work by looking at them. You were the last one to see them alive, Stu.
  12. Yeah, I thought that was amusing.
  13. Ohhh Aaaaaarroooooonnnnn.....?? lolz
  14. Have a drive if you want. It's all good. I'll be up there for Jambo and we can go for a cruise.

  17. Forgot to post the oil pump and crank pulleys.
  18. A bit of added insurance arrived today.
  19. Is the problem with the ECU a random fault with your specific unit or is it a problem with the design of the unit or the firmware it uses? Was it produced by TF Electronics here in AUS? Regardless of the outcome, 6BOOST's offer is pretty exceptional to say the least and I would jump on it once your problem has been solved. My bet is you'll see even more improvements.
  20. For those interested, the first of those three photos shows where the oil is taken from the sump. There's a pickup welded to the bottom of the sump pan with a tube running to that -12 fitting you see on the side of the pan. The third photo shows another fitting where the oil will enter the motor after the pump.
  21. Let's call that the handicap you'll want me to have the first time I chop you up! When's the motor going in?
  22. More pics of motor and body. Snap On digital beeping vibrating LCD equipped torque wrenches ftw!
