  3. I had to. With the manifolds on either side lookinh like they do, the covers just looked shithouse.
  4. So with the Plazmaman intake on one side and the coated shit on the other, I thought I'd spend some time polishing the cam covers. I wasn't aware just what 'some time' really meant. Holy crap this takes a long time. At this point I've cleaned them up with 240 and gone over this one again with 400. Then comes 600 and then polishing. Time consuming plus!!! I should have started this process a long time ago. One of the two covers has a pressed indent in the top that looks like it was meant to have a badge in it at some point. I ground that out together with the casting marks around the base as well.

  9. I have no idea how they're justifying the price but yes, that's what I'm after. Even taller if possible. 3.7:1 maybe?!
  10. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can butcher or buy to get a taller final ratio into my R33 GTST standard diff? Any advice appreciated.
  11. Meh - don't listen to em. Pump 75psi base pressure and 35psi into the lump. Make sure you post pics of the aftermath though.
  12. I have a completely brand new Tomei Poncam to suit RB25DET that I'd like to swap for an RB20DET intake cam with the same lift and duration specs. Reason being I'd like to fit an adjustable intake gear and it wont happen with the RB25DET spec cam. Quite urgent. Please contact via forum.
  13. The other, slower, aborted passes were more telling of the car's potential and I reckon it'll be sooner rather than later that the car sees teens, oh's and then high sevens.

  16. The block hasn't been cryo'd but it is mostly grout filled. Cams go in today and then the external pickup will be mounted and welded in place. Then the bottom pulley will be adapted to the balancer and then it's in the ute and off to Bezerkley to fit and mount the oil pump so we can order the right length belt.

  20. The porting is now complete, the valve guides finished and installed and the valves and valve seats cut and checked for seal.
  21. Yes mate. RB26 bronze exhaust guides and iron CA18 ones for the intake.

  23. Would you believe we had to buy Bobo's beer for him as he was (is) a starving actor? Check this weapon out! And jase, I went straight from the 49FWkW Mirage to the Skyline. Everything else has been daily drivers in the mean time.
