as stock red top sr20det puts out: 150kW @ 6000 rpm 275Nm @ 4000 rpm that one puts out 183.2kw, thats quite a nice figure for a first car. The turbo has been high flowed, exhaust, its lowered, has a bodykit. But its running 14psi with the stock intercooler. I reckon its a good buy for the price and what you get for it.

after about the 6th item it starts getting more expensive. A 2 1/2 exhaust might drone abit so you might have to get a resonator. Your going to have to spend some money to get good power out of an rb30e. -K&N pod filter with CAI -mandril bent 2 1/2 exhaust + high flow cat ( your old cat is probably dead ) -extractors ( you can get some 2nd hand for as little as $100 ) Pacemaker ones are one of the better brand extractors that you can get. -advance the timing 20 degrees BTDC -XF throttle body -4.11 diff ratio -Different cam - Nizpro= cam/lifters $770 ( might need a chip for the ecu ) -head port and polish - i think around $400

One question.. Do you plan on modifying this car in the future? The 180SXs are much lighter than the R33s. Their qtr mile is similar but i think the 180sx is slightly faster. If you going to get a 180sx get the series 2 model with the SR20DET instead of the CA18, the sr20 puts out both more Kws and torque. Id rather an R33 over a 180sx anyday. The RB25DET is a beast waiting to be unleashed, its an excellent motor with heaps of potential. It has good power even while stock You also have 4 seats instead of 2 with the skyline, they have a nicer interior. You'd get more car for your money if you were to buy a skyline.

I think they are $895 used from JustJap for the Super Drager, cat back. Plus it said on their site that all exhausts have been discounted.

would your spark plug gap have anything to do with your missfire? im 90% sure it is. 0.9 is ok for stock boost but for 11-12psi they need to be gapped to 0.8 other things that you could check: - fuel pump - afm - cas

yep thats right a they have a Viscous LSD Viscous has oil in it mechanical lsd use plates like clutches do. The mech lsd makes quite a big difference in how the car handles and are more predictable that the viscous lsd. Power is put to the ground better aswell. If the viscous isnt any good anymore get a mechanical lsd

it would be nice if they reved abit better.. it revs pretty slow. but i think the sohc head is strangling it some-what. but they are good for towing. Their power and torque figures are more that the GQ patrol with the carbie rb30

for r31s theres R31 House its in japanese so you might need a translator - babelfish they tune r31 skylines, engine transplants eg rb25det, rb26dett . Lots of pics. but there isnt really alot of info
