supposedly there were 2 made in 2003- one GTR Vspec II and a GTR M-SPEC. 2002 - 1775 made i think there were around 12,000 made throughout the R34 era 16,000 R33s 44,000 R32s

I cant imagine what the victoms went through at the time of the crash. The amount of damage that the car sustained just makes me sick. My condolences go to the families and friends of the victoms. Rest In Peace

i think it was renamed the autobacs RS-01, but ive also seen it called the Tommy Kaira ZZ2 it has a top speedof 300kph and does 0-100 in 2.18-2.5s

ahh the Tommy Kaira RS-01 The RB26DETT from R34 GTRs were used and enlarged to 2699cc to make an RB27DETT and mounted midship. I think Nissan Japan had a little involvement in this car. This 2.7L puts out: 404Kw (550ps) @ 7300rpm 534.5Nm (54.52kg.m) @ 6000rpm 6 speed gear box: 1. - 3.827 2. - 2.360 3. - 1.658 4. - 1.312 5. - 1.000 6. - 3.280 3.545 tyres + rims F 225/40 - 18" B 295/30 - 19" i found a few websites about this car a while back but now almost all of them are dead.

This thread is abit old, but i have a similar problem. The timing belt was changed on my dads rb30 two months ago. Its making a noise aswell but it was silent before the mechanic replaced it. It sounds like a low whiny noise, now its a consistant noise when the engines idling but it goes away when its being driven. id like to know how much it would cost to fix aswell, it its the CAS bearings should they be fixed soon?

They came in all the normal GTR colours, bayside blue, pearl white, midnight purple etc.

this is one of the closest matches i could get to the first pic. It has the sunken holes like those grey ones. Advan Sienna II BBS LM - they look similar, but i havent seen to many with that grey colour.

i have a few pics i think are worthy.

They dont look so bad if you throw abit of money at them, but stock they dont really draw attention because of the paint colours mercedes used, to me they just look like any other Mercedes Benz id see in the city. The rims are 11x20 ET36 and the tires are 285/25, front wheels are 10x20 ET36, 255/30

oil fouling (wet) usually means that oil is getting into the combustion chamber. They have oil on the electrode and tip, but you said that the electrode and tip were clean so im not to sure where the oil is coming from. Oil fouled plugs make an engine missfire bad which is a symtom you have. Check for worn piston rings, valve stem seals and valve guides. I dont it would be fuel because it leaves dry carbon on the tip and electrode.

Spotted 2 skylines today. One was an r33 gtst on York Rd ( south penrith ), black, and it wasnt too loud. 2nd was in Nepean Square, Silver R32 GTST, it had a gold "turbo" badge on the back where GTSt usually is. i also saw a black S13 Silvia, the reason i mention this is because it had TOMMY KAIRA on the grill thing inbetween the headlights, also had a rear wing that i have never seen before. It had no badges either.

i spotted a maroon r33 gtst today near St Dominics in penrith at a Service station or Maccas, i cant remember.. This was on Parker St/Northern Rd. Had a 400R rear bar, Chrome rims.

What makes it completely different apart from cosmetic ( exterior & interior ) differences, apart from the rb20det-r? I voted GT.

Back a few years ago Nissan were racing the R33 GTR in the GT1 category of the 24 hours endurance race of Lemans in 95' and 96' The GTR LM and the Nismo 400R were intended as road going versions of the race cars. Both models had the RB26DETT the GTR LM having 305HP and the 400R having 400HP. But only a tiny amount of LMs were made ( i think around the same number as the 400R ) Both models were based on the R33 GTR V-SPEC, the GTR LM had RWD like the race cars. All had bigger wheels, spoilers, lowered suspension and wheel arches/gaurds.
