  1. No, the question was can I have an open alcohol container in the car. Many people believe it is illegal, so if your mate is in the passenger seat with a can, you are breaking the law. That is wrong. It is not illegal. And also, it's not illegal to have a drink while driving as long as you are always in control of your vehicle. Trying to eat 5 weetbix out of a bowl may convince a cop that you were not always in complete control of your vehicle and they may book you. Would be a fair assumption too, and you'd be hard pressed convincing a magistrate otherwise. And you are also allowed to use your GPS, phone and stereo as long as it is in a proper mounting system and you do not have to hold it. And to answer the OP, I'd be amazed if you registered. Ethyl-Alcohol has a boiling point ~75c. So assuming your food reached this temperature when cooking (almost certain) and stayed there for more than a few seconds, there would likely be no alcohol left in it. Even if you used half a bottle of wine, there would have been ~ 35gm of alcohol in there. If we assume only half evaporated during cooking (likely to be more if it was boiling for more than 20-30 seconds) there would be ~17g left. If you then ate the ENTIRE meal, you would have 17gm of alcohol in your system which is 1.7 standard drinks. If it took you 30 minutes to eat the meal, and then watched TV for an hour, you would be unlikely to register a reading on a bretho. Again, these calculations are really, really conservative ie, it's unlikely ANY alcohol would be let in the sauce, let alone 17gms, and of course it's unlikely you ate the entire meal you prepared.
  2. Doh! Lemme know if the sale falls through. Cheers.
  3. What does the harness fit? Whereabouts are you located?
  4. Hey Basti, Any idea what the map on the EMU is like? Cheers, Aaron
  5. Hey matey, Wondering if you got my PM re the EMU? Cheers, Aaron.
  6. Not in Aus. They were never delivered here. There are a few getting around, including one incredibly tidy cream one and they are worth huge $$$. Like, a good nick LHD 2 door in Aus, unresto'ed, >$30k. There's also a Coupe version, which I'm not a big fan of. I'd give my left nut for a 2 door though.
  7. I had a blast at the last one and will likely attend this one.
  8. Have you checked all the fuses in your boot? Start with the green ones.
  9. You're an idiot. Supercheap have everything from cheap shitty chinese crap through to SNap on and other top of the line stuff. Pretty much anything you want, you can get at Supercheap and at prices as good as anywhere. As for the people who work there, I've found their spare parts people to be as good as anywhere. And if you walk into any parts store not knowing exactly what you need and can't go up and say to the people "I want this - part 938hfwe9f89234 - the PBR one, not the Nissin one" then STFU. You're a bigger f**king nubcake then the people working there. As for the Clutch, I got a clutch from Bundoora Brake and Clutch for $380 (standard) a couple months ago. The HD ones were about $550 and they used Exedy Pressure Plates and Clutch plates - can't remember the thrust bearing brand but it was named. They were branded differently, but actually had a little Exedy logo on them.
  10. Mine landed yesterday, with the brake line. Cheers Phil, muchos gracias!
  11. The thing is tiny. Have a look at the pic of the dude sitting in it. It's Datsun 1600 in size, tho probably quite a bit wider. Add to that the CF construction and take out all the crap like airbags and AC and stuff and you could easily get it below 1000kg sans driver. The Superleggera is a full size Gallardo with a few carbon bits bolted on.
  12. The other reason you could come to that conclusion is due to the GTR symbol on the face too...
  13. Would you be able to get some idea what they weigh?
  14. That sucks dude. But I gotta say, you left a trailer full of mowing gear out the front of your house in TARNEIT? Was it guarded by a big f**koff Rotty and a 50cal? I can sometimes get my hands on decent, legit second hand gardening gear thanks to having been in the industry (turf curator and a parks and gardens maintenance for local councils as well as having a best mate who works for Damn Mowers) for a fair few years so lemme know what you're after to get back up and running again and I'll see if I can help out.
  15. Hottest car on the face of the earth. And when you have a car that weights under a tonne and can do 0-100 in 2.5 seconds, you're allowed to make it look anyway you want to because if anyone says anything about them, simply challenge them to a race. When they back the f**k down, laugh at them from the drivers seat of your ugly car and then drive off.
  16. www.ozdat.com www.datnet.org Try those two.
  17. Yeah, if you get nothing from the Navy, call ACA and tell them the Navy is harboring conmen and fraudsters.
  18. Which train you catching at the moment, Chuck? I'm working in the city now so am training to work at the moment. Although I'm taking a squizz at a 98 zx9 tomorrow (kawasaki...*shudder*) so this may be my last day on 84 wheels!
  19. Hey Phil, Chuck me down for an s1 r33 gts-t please mate, as per our PM convoy. I'm skint until next Friday. Ok to pay then? Cheers, Aaron
  20. I suggest emailing Tony (the maker of shift-i) and asking him. The guys is one of the cleverest people I've ever come across. He'll no doubt be able to answer your question.
  21. Anyone know what the full fare is? I'm looking for an inner city gym. Going to start going before work.
  22. If he's in the navy, I'd get in touch with them. They don't take too kindly to their own beign such flamin mongrels. His CO may have a quiet word in his ear and suggest he pay back the money to the finance company.
