  1. Sorry if you had 17x9 as well I could have been interested. They are still fitted to my R33 Skyline.
  2. Hi Sydney kid. I have just been having a quick look through this thread and am about to return to Adelaide from OS and want to fix up some issues with my Skyline. I have Bilstein shocks fitted and what I believe is far too heavy springs. I have 1.5 degree camber on the front and .5 on the rear. I am wondering if the whiteline springs may help my issues or I might have missmatched shocks. I still run standard sway bars. I couldnt see the specs on the spring rates etc however from the pics on here they are a lot thicker and tighter. Might be in the 400lb region. I enjoy my track days at Mallala with the occasional drag meet. Car not used as a daily driver except runs through the hills. Also can I find out if my shocks are suitable to be matched up with the rest of the setup. Is it as easy as maybe seeing a part number maybe. Mine actually have a threaded ajustment instead of circlips if this is any help. I currently have all the camber and caster ajustments a strut brace. I guess I would need springs, sway bars and the cradle kit. One final question. If I want a set of dedicated track wheels are 17 inch instead of 18 inch wheels OK as I am thinking tyres would be more accessable cheaper. Thanks for any help.
  3. Thinking of reshuffling my wheel situation to have some track wheels and street setup so am considering selling my Buddy Club P1 spec II wheels. 18x8 and 18x9. No real great scrapes. Will have tyres on that have seen a couple of track days Toyo T1s 235 40s front (pretty much had it) but will get you around for a while. RE540 265 35s on the rear ( have a little left in them). Will require $1699 firm. Still overseas until FEB 8th so no pics until then. Check this site out they are the gunmetal grey coulour. http://www.c-red.com.au/parts/buddyclub/p1...2.shtml#gallery
  4. Hi all Back from overseas shortly and am wondering who around Adeliade is the place to go for vented bonnets now. Haven't decided wether to go for the carbon fibre look or just paint a fiberglass one. For a R33 series 1. Thanks for any help
  5. Hi all Over here in the Middle East. Thought I would drop a pic from outside the Dubai autodrome.
  6. Hi all Computer wizards. My desktop finally needs replacing. So I have decided to go with something that can run games well. After short research I am thinking of an Athlon 64 dual core 3800 (or 4000 single) Asus A8N mother board SLi Geforce 7800 GT PCI express and normal stuff (1g ram, Sata2 drive etc) Things I am not sure of is dual core or not. Or go cheaper 256 cards and run two (figure the better crads will drop in price later for this option). Think dual core will be good for future games when written for it. So thinking of spending $2000 there. Next is I would like some opinions on LCD monitors. Looking at 19 inch. Wide screen might be nice as I will probably have HDTV tuner card as well. So needs DVI inputs. I know 8ms and 700:1 ratio is all good stuff to have. Keen to know what people have seen work well. Opinions are also good if well reasearched. There seems so many formats out there. Thanks In adavance.
  7. Thanks to all. Its for a friend of mine. I am now overseas however will pass on any info and maybe you can help. Just slow to getting around to it.
  8. Dont think so at this stage. However will keep it in mind thanks.
  9. Hi all. A friend of mine is after a builder for some cash work. They have divided their block and the old house needs a carport put up. The job could be a little tricky as a fibre wall needs to be removed and some concrete cut out and the carport put in. Also some eves need some repair work. So I am after a all round handyman really. Thanks in advance.
  10. Just wondering if the Autsalon is any good. I was a little dissapointed last year. Gets to the point where I can go out into the shed to see a good car. Any decent dyno stuff happening?
  11. Nokia 6230 for sale. Has 64 Meg card. Box and books. looking at getting a CDMA phone for remote areas when fishing. Anyway a pic is in the main for sale (other) area. Listed there for $250 open to offers from Adelaide buyers.
  12. I now have a work phone so the Nokia 6230 is for sale. Comes with origonal box and documentation. 64meg card instead of the normal 32meg. Has new leather case. After $250 posted. Sold!!
  13. I did Booster brace and braided lines at the same time. Definetly works better however the test will be the next time I am on the track. Slotting for the road may not be real necessary however the slots allow the gases to escape better and keep the pads clean. The biggest improvement is oil and pads. I guess your pads wear more however I dont check these things just like I dont check fuel economy. Performance comes at a price.
  14. I had my fronts done at Race Oil Distribution - 14 Watervale Drive Greenfields. PH : 82852933. Cant remember the exact price think it was $60 total for the two.
  15. What are the benefits over the standard diff? Does it make a harsh ride around the streets?
  16. Your all invited!! Not everyone will be able to fit the boat so some can fish and others can be burley. Then swap of course.
  17. Drop me a PM I am planning to go fishing however if that falls through I might get off my ass.
  18. GTR HKS 265 dur 9.5mm lift, GTR inlet valves, SR20 exh valves, solid lifters, RB25 head.
  19. Its the head as you say bigger cams, valves etc. Gave me more up top. Still not %100 as I had to replace the compressor wheel due to it eating an O-ring. May not be the exact same spec wheel. However I am told it has the same part number as the origonal. Sourced by Garrett in Sydney. Still made 270rwkw with a broken compressor.
  20. Still have the 2835ProS and have not overcome the boost issue. I run 20psi with it dropping back to about 16psi up top. The gate gets pushed open at 6000rpm. I rev it to 7400rpm
  21. Dont show any number plates.
  22. I am new to boating. Guess everyone are pretty guarded about their GPS spots however any recommendations within 15ft boat size range.
  23. Recently went for a test run in an old 15ft fibreglass boat I have now bought. Returning to the ramp the water police were there waiting to do inspections. The boat had a few deficincies as the owner has a new one to look after. One the rego sticker was missing noticed by the police. He said was worth a fine. Two the fire extinguisher was unserviceable. He stated that he knows next time it will be all good. Upon leaving he commented how the owner had his moneys worth out of the bald front tyres on his ute. Also to be replaced immediately. I might have to make my Skyline amphibious.
  24. OK then I will go to jaycar myself. Thanks anyway.
