  1. Prefer Perth buyer as I'm O/S ATM. As the title says. All in good condition and working well. Selling as I am installing Wolf ECU. Complete Kit - $1,200 Separate prices: PFC/HC - $1,000 Boost kit - $300 PM if interested.
  2. Mine's broken and in a different country to me
  3. Money spent on car mods is akin to masturbation: Everyone thinks it's TOO much, but never really wants to quantify HOW much. For me? - well fast approaching the $30K mark (excluding purchase), and haven't gone blind yet! (can't be far off 'tho!)
  4. Jesus HC Mark, I bet there were a few comments along the line of: "dunno what the f**k that thing is but it goes bloody hard" from the flannelet shirt brigrade!
  5. Ah - I'm getting impatient now - the Lada's gonna cop a floggin' on the drive home tonight!
  6. PM Sent
  7. Thanks Wreckedhead - PM replied. The OSG clutches are all push type. Does this come with the adaptor - if not Anyone know the cost for one of these adaptors?
  8. FOUND ONE - THANKS Need a twin plate clutch (pull type) urgently. Please PM me with what you've got include: * price * condition * location Cheers Gav
  9. Bloody fat curve for the size. Ant, if you can pack as much beef under my graph I'll be happy (better peak at 500 'tho!)
  10. Yep - same happened to me. Turned out to be greasy connections. Disconnect them and give them a good degrease. Maybe crimp the female connectors a little more.
  11. An old topic - custom made versus a Jap name brand. My advice is have a ride in a few different Skylines and check out which one suits you. I personally like the HKS Hi-Power model as it's not too droney at cruise. If you install a second hand brand name (and keep your std zaust in storage), you could probably recoup a fair swag of the cost when you sell you 'line in the future. Probably not so withj a custom zaust.
  12. The statement is somewhat self defeating in that in general big power comes at high revs with the RB26. I would also suspect that high revs probably contributes the the breakage of rods as much as the torque stresses. Anyway, as a guess, I would say if you select the rods carefully and prepare/check thoroughly (crack test, shot pean, linish), I would suggest that you would be safe for any low mount application. For twin high mounts/big single, you would be pushing your luck over time.
  13. Yep - an' dont forget the plastic skidmark-proof seatcovers for the back seat! Nice fat curve there Mark - suspect there's gonna be a few cans o' woop-ass being handed out to some unsuspecting contenders?
  14. Just seeing who's paying attention!
  15. I'm using Hyundai Sonata (2 Litre) pistons for my build-up. They're the right size and cheap too!
  16. Some sound advice there Rev. My '93 GTR gave up the ghost pretty fast after strapping on a big pair of low mounts. In hindsight - should have done some diagnostics first and then could have saved duplicating some of the labour going into my present rebuild.
  17. IF I've got any money left from my build-up of the RB26, maybe "IN DETT" Reflects many a GTR owners state of finances I think!
  18. After reading an article on the Z31 (ZR300?), I'd be inclined to get one of the RB20 suckers and do a RB30 bottom end with the RB25 head. Lighter than the R32 and it'd be fun dishin' out some Old Skool woop-ass.
  19. Rep - they wouldn't be my old rods would they?
  20. All right Morgs, come clean - ur've got a mole on the inside at SST, right!
  21. http://www.pauter.com/billet_rods.htm But these ones really give me a stiffy: http://www.pauter.com/titanium.htm
  22. It's prolly not feasible for you (given that you are working at coles) but if you can afford a cheap bunky as well, life is a lot less stressful when you have to park in dodgy places.
  23. Troy are you going for the Arias/Pauter combo?
  24. Hmmmm....some $$$$ (¥¥¥¥) have been spent there! What was the CR that you found?
