  1. Once ARC stuff is out the way i'll also chuck this on the main page for you blokes
  2. Oh Rolls, I love your threads...
  3. lol @ thread Alex. Loved this: Probably because their cars are all so "stanced" they cannot drive anywhere above the speed limit for fear of flogging out tyres, bump stops/suspension and breaking god knows what Oh how I am LOL'ing at the moment.
  4. Yes the head is off... Realistically though it does not need touching at all. It's just a case of sort the bottom end, bolt the head back on, away you go.
  5. Just as good of an option as the bus
  6. There isn't anything under $2,000. Plus you are not talking 200-300rpm. It'll be more than that. Upwards of 500rpm. Anyway the rest of the info, funnily enough, if contained in a thread: www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/236467-definitive-guide-to-building-300-330awkw-gt-r/ Have a long read of it. Has ALL the info you need.
  7. Mate come on enough just starting threads. Please have a got @ the search, all this info has been posted before and even in your other thread.
  8. .82 split pulse will indeed be small. It's not the "normal" size of a .82 from a single housing - that is the point they are making. Most generally seem to go the 1.06/T4 split pulse if heading down that road. Or a .82 in a non-split setup.
  9. When AME-Racing are prepared to pay site Trader fee's - like all other businesses. They would be more than welcome to advertise their items. Further details see here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/
  10. Just got home - work done as well. GTR launch is FTW. That is all. Im going to bed
  11. +1 One set are small and laggy, without a decent top end power punch. Another set are even laggier, but will make a semi-ok top end. Basically 1980s designs. There are much newer/decent options available.
  12. Damn. Will just be leaving work at 10.40 Will take me at least 30 to get my ass there, gotta go home and collect car
  13. What time you guys going?

  16. Valve float you mean...? Not the actual valves... It's very hit and miss debate that one. Lots of people are fine, lots of people aren't. If the head is in good condition it shouldn't really be a problem as the aim is very moderate, so there won't be a big huffer going onto it. One of the things you don't really need to "do" unless it is actually a problem. Plenty have made 350-400rwkw on stock heads without changing the springs. Ye some get to 300rwkw and get valve float. Suck it an see i say.
  17. For a lot of you that have emailed questions or posted here... Still awaiting a response. Was in touch with the guys today about it and should have some further info end of the week to get back to people with Keep the entries coming in! Very rare and awesome opportunity.
  18. I'm similar to you, in that I'm white as fark... But I've picked up some reasonable colour arms and shoulders. 3-4 days over the past 3 weeks been out in the sun for ~90mins with SPF30+ on. Making sure I don't just stay 'back' to the sun kinda thing. But just rotate Also was in the water at the time (aspendale beach). End of the day its not a great tan but I ain't milk white now And fark cancer, everything gives you cancer. Hell I could be hit by a bus in 6 months time. I don't deliberately roast myself, so if it happens I get cancer so be it.
  19. Oh and for you blokes coming on the Scavenger Hunt/Cruise/BBQ Can y'all please post up so we have an idea how much food to get etc. I know a few of you are coming, but without posting it's impossible to keep track of http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/385758-offical-sau-scavenger-hunt-220112-for-charity/
  20. A 2.8 spooling a T88, especially the big mongrel - 5500rpm+ Not laggy at all y0!
  21. Depends how close to Citylink. You might actually come close if it's right near an onramp. Tulla/Citylink -> Monash -> off @ Blackburn Rd. You'd be there in under 25mins from a FWY point of view depending on where in Glenroy you are.
  22. You must change the fuel pump. It is cheap insurance really, everything else you keep talking about isn't required - but the fuel pump definitely is. It is just a ridiculous gamble for a $400 part. If you find out it's now flowing enough 5 months later, when the engine pings and destroys itself - you'll wish you'd changed it.
  23. You are only running 12psi up top. 160rwkw doesn't sound out of the norm. It's probably in similar ball park to to running 8-9psi on a RB25 in the top end, which would make around that. Maybe 10rwkw more (so call it dyno variance). So look to fixing the boost control and you should be fine. Also you are in a hot climate, this plays a factor.
  24. Why? Only go as far as you require. Get a set of Weisco/CP/Mahle from the states. All are good, little issues with any really. More about getting the numbers/build right.
