  1. So if it came with a 5-speed manual H-pattern, it needs a 5-speed manual H-pattern
  2. Tough decision indeed. Unfortunate about the dates. The way I look at it - Powercruise is every year. 3 days of multi disciple forum battle, perhaps once in a life time? I'm aware of any plans to do it again next year for instance. Already looking like a few cars from NSW coming/entering. I'm looking forward to it, something a bit different to attend for a change rather than "just" a track day or a drift event etc. This has everything
  3. It would be street class, depending on tyres. Reason being it's still using a RB25, just converted. So the factory engine that has been modified, and engine modifications are unlimited for street class. Just excludes non-factory motors. So putting in a LS1 for example. Not for the S'n'S it isn't But given what other forums are bringing along (basically super-lap cars). SAU must fight fire with fire of course Hopefully superjet is coming down to run some 8-sec passes. He will confirm back in approx 2 weeks but unless something really goes wrong - it'll be down here. It's going to be a great spectator event i reckon. 3 days of all levels/types of motorsport to tickle everyone fancy in one way or another
  4. I've already got leave There is already a 8-sec GTR looking to be coming down, never had one of those run on Vic soil. Some other BIG cars in the wings as well. Just working the finer details out. This is going to be fk'n crazy!
  5. Stock injectors will be fine as well. They will run out 280-300rwkw as well. Spending $700 on injectors and not doing the AFM's is a waste IMO. If you run out of injectors, just up the rail pressure a bit. I've managed 340rwkw out of stock injectors via a very tiny bump in the pressure. Wouldn't go any more than that but it can be done and reliable.
  6. HUGE NEWS!!! superjet760 looks like making the trip to Melbourne, to fly the SAU flag in the 400m 8.9 sec pass on DOT radials - Perhaps even faster. Will have 100% confirmation in approx 2 weeks, and pending no more setup issues (or unfortunate failures) - this is a GO! This is some excellent awesome news. Still need 2 more cars at this stage. Spread the word - Team SAU is taking brilliant shape already. I don't think there has ever been a GTR in the low 9s here in Vic, let alone run 8s!

  8. Oh and good to see the email submissions coming through! Looking like there might be 2-3 of each model down to some old classics for the S'n'S. Be quite a good flavour for the stand indeed to have em lined up etc. Will look awesome.
  9. An online shop is coming this year, you'll be able to get a host of different stuff later... But that said, if we have any left over it shouldn't be a problem to shoot ya one It'll probably just be a URL or something. Yet to really think about that.
  10. A GCG hi-flow should make 240rwkw without a problem on around 16-18psi. Would be a simple case of just having it rebuild. Most cost effective solution!
  11. N1 is not all forged. If it's been build to strictly N1 specs - it will still have ALL the problems that RB's have factory especially around oil control etc. Basically you need boost either way - read the dyno thread.
  12. Yeah it's farken strange. Some guys blown them with under 300rwkw. Yet there are guys who've run consistent 9s/10s without problems with big launches & sticky tyres. Such a random one.
  13. Ok so far looking good so far, a 9.4sec R33 gts-t... Should confirm next week. Manual too. Although it runs slicks normally so it'll be a bit slower on DOT radials, still a great start
  14. Well the entry list is now upto 4 cars for the 400m dash AND... NO MORE STREET REGO I've dropped a PM to superjet, however he has not been online in over a month. If someone knows him personally and could give him quick call and point him in his PM box direction it would be great! As the rules have changed, anyone with some non-rego'd cars around??? I reckon there would be a few interested people now especially given we need a team of FOUR!!!
  15. Read the forum rules - and try again.
  16. Not a chance. Nismo twin one of the best clutches on the market. Same clutch that's in mine and has taken some pretty epic abuse.
  17. Didn't even read that part lol. More-so just meant that if everyone else does it with AFM size leading pipe then it shouldn't be a problemo
  18. ^+1 to the above. I had a 3" to 4" adaptor made from ally right before the turbo inlet. Was fine for 280rwkw @ 17psi with a GT3040. Plus as said they are not a 4" wheel.
  19. And i cant kill a box no matter how hard i try... flat shifting, 8,000rpm launches... lol. Although i do kill diffs, which kill sumps...
  20. Look closing this - there are issues with this thread as it is. There are forum rules in place. If you think legal challenges don't occur against SAU... Read this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/382729-businesses-who-threaten-legal-action/
  21. As long as it's 3" and opens to 4", you'll be fine. The main thing you want to ensure is the AFM is far away as possible. Plus a Z32 AFM isn't 4" and that's what everyone makes 300+ on (3" going to 4") - so it's not an issue of importance.
  22. Ye as others have said - Deadlifts come first not at the end. That'll make a big difference. And drop back to 8 reps max and up the weight!
  23. Simply not worth the effort. People have tried - most say they wouldn't do it again simply due to the stuffing around. Adaptor plates need to be made, the whole intake/exhaust side. All for what? Two turbos that have ceramic wheels - if they fail bye bye motor. It'll be a min $5000 job as you'd put two proper turbos on ($2500). That's just before you start.
  24. So go to the bottom of the email and click the "unsubscribe" link. Or option 2 - Go into your settings - and change the email notifications from Administrators to "not send". Once you do either of those, you will not receive any. We do not delete to stop scammers and other issues arising. Works quite well.
