  1. Link was deleted because you are unable to read the forum rules.
  2. Ah ok, 2mm - fair point. You can get the RDA under $300 a pair for fronts if you shop around. Could go through 1.5 sets of RDA for the price of one set of DBA. Comes down to what the end user wants/budget as there is nearly 40% price difference. RE: Rotor wear. It is as much about pad choice in terms of how long a rotor will last. Get a pad that is hard on rotors, and rotor composition will be the least of your worries.
  3. Just look for R33 gts-t. Same thing. Get RDA, better value if you are only doing the odd track trip in a stocker car.
  4. Set price or lock. It's very simple.
  5. It's an idea that is just a waste of money given current setup. Doesn't sound like he will chase 450rwkw+ either (given stock rail/intank is fine for 400rwkw).
  6. Just be a case of the fans have found their limit in terms of airflow and cooling. Driving around you were no doubt getting aid from the actual speed of the car + fans, rather than the fans outright which in stop/start has lead to it picking up. If you had 5mins of moving (80km/h+) it would've come back down. If you have heat shielding deflecting the heat, of course that will help - however I'd see it as almost inevitable that it will heat up to those types of temps. Ambient air temp also plays a factor, was it warmer than normal perhaps? Also if there are larger fans/CFM, this might also help. Perhaps water spray for the I/C as well to get temps down. Still as you said, 84 is still low and it's really not much of a drama.
  7. Stock injectors/cleaned/working right - with a NEW pump - 280-300rwkw. They can do up to 330-340rwkw with a minor bump in rail pressure. But again must be stressed - you must replace the pump as by now they are 20 years old if still factory. So trying to push anything is a bit too risky. Also you could have injectors that require cleaning etc. So it is very hard to say.
  8. Well don't post then. It's a Drag day, likely there will be Drag Racing.
  9. Except you can't see anything...
  10. I think it's Sat 6-10pm or around that. Not at home to look atm, but its definitely listed.
  11. +1 They can also catch fire... Or at least heat to the point they harden and crack. I had 3 90 degree bends do that, usually around 2,000kms they would last (this was on the 31 years ago). Gotta have a steel 90degree bends if you can when close to manifolds/heat.
  12. On a journal bearing turbo, you need more oil than a newer ball bearing...
  13. It wont work with larger injectors. You'll need to configure them within the PFC at a bare minimum regardless, or it will just over fuel and stall, it might not even idle.
  14. Well wheelspin would cause those dips But it shouldn't be turning tyres if strapped right or the ramp rate gets changed to suit
  15. The comparo graph though (from page 3) the blue line vs the red line. Ah mis-read, so it was a 52T just a housing change. The blue graph has very "suspect" dips that usually come with surge as mine was exactly the same, interesting either way If ya didnt notice then might have just been tune or something.
  16. Interesting on your graph - it almost looks like the 56T is actually surging around the 3000rpm mark. My GT3040 (the 600hp one) did a similar thing, wasn't quite as severe but it also started to ramp, drop away a little, and then re-ramp again. It was *barely* audible unless in specific conditions, but it was hurting the performance none the less. Did you notice any surge around that point with the 56T? It's certainly not known for it!
  17. You wouldn't use the same cam/head mods that you would neccesarily with a N/A vs FI Putting them both into the same section will just bring confusion. Having FI stuff in FI - means anyone looking for FI applications knows where to go. This is the reason we have the sections broken up into the major key areas rather than breaking it down to say... Valvetrain, Clutches, Brake Pads. They just go under their "major" section.
  18. Ye +1 to Dave's post. It's not just about the surface area flow - more so what the fans will flow. No point going a little more area with a fan that is lower as the CFM is more important
  19. +1 Cams gears on a RB26 are the best value modification short of upping the boost, which is free.
  20. Let me guess - you intend to slander the person? Why didn't you transfer the car immediately? Nothing wrong with a repaired write off realistically. Could have been something as simple as some hail damage, which once repaired, what difference does it make? It couldnt have been repaired too badly if you didn't notice.
  21. lol... They haven't run 8s
  22. Yep - that was much the face i had when the call came through yesterday Funnily enough - i was out @ dinner too LOL
  23. Looks like 8-sec GTR's are coming to Vic To race for SAU Excited in pants in the highest order.
  24. Both. Go have a read of the main thread. Has detailed track outlines etc of what is where
