  3. That's his point - You pay too much for them really when you look @ what they are. Better off as said, buying a little run-about for a few years and then step into a GTR or something once you have even more cash behind you. It'll also help you as insurance for 2-4 years will improve your rating etc as insurance will be a huge expense. Basically cool N/A now, paying huge insurance costs, stuck with it for a while. or Sh*tbox now, cheap insurance, more cash spare for awesome GTR later.
  4. Just look at it like this... RWC is mechanical. EPA is pollution/emissions/noise.
  5. If you get pinned by a EPA Mobile test station, then you also get the fine. If you get a letter of 'suspicion' in the mail, then there is no fine as there is no actual proof. Been going on for years how. This 'operation' is just a formal name for what the police & EPA have been doing for 2 years now. End of the day people don't give a fk, and what they are trying to 'achieve' will never be realised. It's just revenue raising essentially.
  6. Funny thing is a Varex type valve is factory on Ferrari's for example. They have quiet mode and noisy mode... Yet they get away with it... It's farken bullsh*t.
  7. Because if they did the Bikies would actually take action. Unlike the rest of complacent Australia. Funnily enough my best mate was done in Nov up there on his Harley. Seems they are doing what they've been doing here in Vic for quite some time (EPA) wise. Took photo's of the bike, documented modifications and send him an EPA in the mail - based on suspicion, not fact. So if you guys are getting the "suspicion" EPA letters, you are now as fked as we have been for the last 8 years or so Oh and engineers certs or not... People still get defected and then you've gotta go through the court ringer to prove that you are not actually in the wrong. Been there and done that.
  8. Cusco arms Racepace modify them if you wanna get more serious with adjustments Or you can have the factory ones modified as well but not as much freedom as Cusco ones. Depends how much/what you want i guess.
  9. Local? Very good for local. No chance it wont be legit, it'll come in a box and part numbers
  10. That is a good price
  11. Looking like I'll be in for the Tour part of Baw Baw. Will assess the funding tomorrow as to whether the car gets semi's or not for it.
  12. I'm full of it And ye - Thread Doctor - he is a "come to you" guy, does it on the spot. Cheap as well which is awesome considering how much of a headfcuk of a job it is to do if you dont have the tools. Even most workshops just call him lol
  13. Get the manifold taken off, and change the studs whilst it's being done. Will cost more, but likely you already have at least one crook stud in there
  14. Yep 2 cars, per event. Class is irrelevant. Hence put a GTR in Street and BIG RED into Pro
  15. NSW - Where SBS runs rife. (sumb baffle syndrome)
  16. The track it's using now is longer than the one it was previously. It was using the super-short course and cutting in the middle prior to todays update. So would have been mega short. Street looks like Chris will go there in the GTR with some 285 or 295s. It'll favour street class to have 4WD as Calder is effectively a power competition especially with the chicane on back straight.

  23. It's how we roll. People bullshit and lie aaalllll day long. Always know the ones that are gonna say one thing, and do another. Prime case atm
  24. You'd added mods, and added boost... Without doing a ECU/Tune? That's the problem, and it's always the problem. The car is CLEARLY going into Rich/Retard mode due to the mods and boost. 10psi, 12psi - there is no set "number" when it kicks in. Every car/setup is different. Get a ECU/Tune and it will fix the problem. Tuner is spot on with advice given.
