  1. $800 is a bit rich I agree. Seriously, just put the manifolds you have back on. At the requirements/power you are after you ain't needing to waste money on anything like that.
  2. Just use whatever you have, you really won't notice a tangible difference either way.
  3. +1 to the above. Yep that is indeed the crux of it, gotta love the various groups instantly pointing fingers for the instant issue... It's been a LONG time coming, for any side of parliament to say the other is the reason is utterly stupid really.
  4. EPA have state branches, although it is nationwide. So make of that what you will. if you called them I doubt you'd get an answer :-)
  5. It is illegal to sell a car with an EPA notice outstanding unless you have written permission from them. It's clearly stated it all the letters they have sent you. Please post up the written approval letter to show this is not an ILLEGAL sale of vehicle so some poor unsuspecting soul doesn't end up in a paperwork nightmare
  6. Not quite... R33 VSPEC and R33 NON VSPEC have different half shafts due to the A-LSD version being different for whatever reason Nissan decided. About the only thing that was missing there that you need to remember... Never go A-LSD
  7. 3 speed or a 2 speed... Transbrake etc... VL guys have been doing it for years. It's all Nissan, all bolts in, all same same and plenty of it to chose from Just comes down to budget as you need to consider the following Tyre size, diff gearing, gearbox gearing & gears, power you'll be making... More factors than just that and there is no one "single" answer which is what your first post sounds like you are after. Go talk to a workshop with a VL/R31 that runs reliably into the 9s (or better) day in/day out and go from there IMO. There are plenty in VIC to choose from, not many in SA. They all know how to set-up a car to do what you want. Obviously it'll be fairly useless at anything else
  8. Your Ebay selling account would kinda disagree with "limited stock" "we are located" etc. Suggests you are a business or at the least - backyard trader http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BNR34-R34-GTR-Carbon-Fiber-Bonnet-with-Vent-/181268002949?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a346a3885&_uhb=1 As with everyone else, if you wish to trade here on SAU you are required to become a paying trader like everyone else who supports the community. For more information on how to become a trader, see here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/89710-sau-business-traders-please-read/ Thanks Admin.
  9. Perfectly said. Forget all this $1700 sump, $1500 oil pump business... It's just not required. Overfill the stock sump by 1ltr, drive around fine. Sumps, extensions etc, you'll never need them at that power level and use.
  10. righto ladies. back from SAU Nats. Week leading up was beyond busy (obviously). Will get onto them tomorrow sometime and access people up, and take away those that haven't paid!
  11. Seemed to be OK for a friend who is going through it at the moment, precautions covered etc. It's not as if the place has to be torn down and rebuilt or anything radical... It can be managed was the point
  12. One just needs to pick the right industry or path, do a sound business plan or the due diligence on the numbers of the existing one. Too many people go in without doing proper research on the feasibility of the business, area it's in, costs, projections and so on. Then end up losing massive money or at best getting back their initial 18months later for what was essentially a bad decision and it screws you for many years to come. In under 9 months, business I run, decent return coming back and looking to open 2nd in the near future. We didnt go into it blinded like so many do which is often the biggest problem
  13. Yeah correct. Certain things can be done, inspections regularly etc. You'd be surpsirsed how many older buildings have it but it's manageable with the government rules being followed on it and so on. No need to get too excited about that. Back on topic now... Pretty poor to see death threats for what in a nutshell is 5mins of info gathering that is all public record and readily accessible to anyone in the world... Bit weird things would go that path.
