  1. Are they zero John? That would be nice if a few are together. Leroy, looks like club is paying or subsidies for garages this year. Get all SAU crew next to each other and get better well known group together etc.
  2. Bump for result and actions to come
  3. Oh and just on this too - SAU actually offered to create a private area for R35 guys, there were a few PMs going around about it to help everyone out - as indeed - it's become worse over time with general 'annoyance' from other sections of the forum. That never eventuated which was kinda odd, as it would work very well. Maybe because it wouldn't let people continue to avoid SAU Trader fees? Maybe the other R35 guys weren't even told about it? The idea/proposal still stands none the less if someone, such as yourself, wanted to look into that with us!
  4. Thread cleaned. Some of you need to grow up a little and think before posting dribble. Welcome Joel, you'll find the forums have a wealth of information that you'll never find quick/easy on Facebook You'll be well looked after @ Racepace, lately every time I've been out there - two different R35s out the front. everytime.. Must be doing something right as they say. But come on though - surely you must save the Pontiac is the ultimate car simply because of what it was, a rare piece indeed
  5. This. 6 months is the approx shelf life when stored correctly. That's what Shell have always said. Never been able to find any information from the other companies as easily... So 2 weeks, unlikely.
  6. Keep your pants on and stop crying about selling bits-a-shell for 10k. Busy in my own career to lock it, done now. Won't be deleting it though, we don't roll like that.
  7. You need to download the SAU App. You are just downloading Tapatalk which is generic per se. The dedicated app is called "SAU Community". Download that one, that's the dedicated SAU App that is made by Tapatalk.
  8. Just put the class up from day 1, make it conditional that 2 people need to have done two races. It's the class is front page, everyone can see it... And there is no 'default' if people don't make it. Problem solved?
  9. Oh yeah, and see you all next Sat, ill be out there too in AO3
  10. Stop being a tight ass, it's cheap for what you are getting vs a friday night!
  11. Thanks for all the PMs, most of you I only found out about 4 days ago... Keep your lace panties on ladies! All sorted.
  12. Calder is still the same old... Lucky if you get 3 runs on a Friday night etc. If I were all of you, I'd be finding out if you can attend the below event... WRX Club have a drag night on the 8th, Sat night: http://www.wrx.com.au/Default.aspx?pageId=1540753&eventId=853226&EventViewMode=EventDetails They have hired the circuit for the Sat Day time so likely have just rented out the place for the evening also. You'll likely get closer to double the amount of runs, if not more, given Calder pack as many cars as they can into a Fri night to pocket as much cash as possible. Probably less track time loss as well with shitboxes etc.
  13. lol 100k, and the rest... 8k a month... Trackers are, and always have been, a rip off gimmick. Just cause someone makes something, doesn't mean you need it. Jammers cost HALF the average price of a GPS unit installed... False economy. Most people simply fall into: 1. Dont have alarms 2. If they do have alarms, they are not installed correctly and area easily bypassed. I've said it for years. Spend $200 on an alarm and $600 installing it rather than $600 on an alarm and $200 on installation. You'll be intangibly better off.
  14. Looks like someone just got confused between E and A, no big deal. Nominations posted here, are a written form if I am not mistaken... So that is covered for some. Some have also not accepted but 8.1 says that if there are none it can just be sorted out at the meeting, nice and easy. Doesn't really seem like a big issue. I will be there, miniwog and acsplit i believe will be attending also talking to them yesterday/today.
  15. yep, being picked up friday at this stage.
  16. Yeah Phil. Was going to use them however Fri saw me put a deposit down on another car, so cleaning out the garage now over the next few weeks... Big part thread coming soon! All PMs replied, no one fronted with the cash yet despite interest, first in first serve.
  17. According to what people? Have you read any of the information in the thread at all? From what everyone told you and the info provided - it very clearly says you'll need to get a VASS. You are putting a very non-factory option motor into the car, so you need a VASS (Engineer) to sign off. They will look at all everything from brakes to engine mounts I would assume and hence, as always, contact them before doing any modifications to discuss what you plan to do. As also stated: No idea how you could've missed that, the EPA is entirely separate and always will be in Vic... So that means all the emissions gear must be factory, noise and so on.
  18. All. A set (4) of Yoko AD08s up for sale, arguably one of the best high performance street tyre on the market at the moment. Perfect size for GT-R owners. When new they have 8mm tread depth, these have 7.9mm left. Average price locally/delivered for brand new is $1300-$1500. Jump on this bargain and save yourself $600-$800 while you can. Item: 4 x Yokohama AD08 - 265/35/18 - Set of 4 Location: Vic Metro. (I'm North, East or S.E at various times in the week). Condition: Near new. 0.1mm tread wear if that. Price: $800 ONO Postage: Happy to post at buyers expense. Have access to good freight pricing to help you out. PM to discuss
  19. Cam gears and a good tune might net you ~300rpm but that'll be best case scenario really at the end of the day. Overall the only two 'simple' options to improve the response is capacity or downsizing turbos.
  20. Yep was fixed a few hours ago now, around lunch ish
  21. And "buying" would suggest you've not paid for it. By the sounds of it, you should be staying well clear of it
  22. Why stop at low 10s? lol. 9s and around then 140mph you'd think with that power! Just gotta get the power down to get the ET, or put streets on and just get the MPH for laughs if you're only going to get kicked out anyway
  23. In the diary, will be there. Wed nights are good
  24. Can't say I ever had a problem over 3 cars/8 years and always over 20psi with standard clamps/Norma style ones. Often you'll find a bit of oil gets onto the cooler pipes, ensure you give them a good cleaning off first and that sometimes can make all the difference with stopping things moving too much. Also as stated, check engine mounts. If things are moving around too much that will also cause you to pop a clamp off a lot more easily.
