  1. Winter is always a bit quiet on club front until the weather improves - then it livens up a bit more
  2. Don't fark with something if it isn't broken That said - Still not working here (On Firefox now), guessing Chrome would still do it. The "New post" circle on the left hand side is still missing so you can't jump to new posts or see which threads are hot/trending etc or which you've replied too.
  3. 1.5 way here as well. Mine was on the softest setting. it was tight to start but after 1,200kms of driving and giving it a solid flogging it settled down (front settled much faster, around 400kms) and would only skip on mid level turns on concrete and in tight carpark turns. If you don't want any at all just add Penrite Friction modifier, that'll stop any chatter totally. With a Nismo front/rear - get ready for some 4WD powersliding, just have to bet into a corner & tap brakes/lift off the throttle and turn, let it glide and then stomp the pedal to the floor and have some fun f you've modified the transfer case you'll pull even harder out of the corners again. IMO after having done Transfer case then Front then Rear diffs... I'd do that again before chasing power in a GT-R, certainly made the car so much more enjoyable to take on hill runs Only problem with doing all of that is not matter how i threw the car around I could no longer get the car to do 4WD helli's like it would with stock diffs front/rear. Just something odd i noticed.
  4. I noticed similar today - using Chrome. The "New posts" 'circle' is not appearing in threads for me so i cant go to the new post in a thread by clicking it, because he is GONE! Definitely something broken on the forum side
  5. I must admit I've been lazy there and have not looked for a while. Will have a look-see over the next few days and sort it out!
  6. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  7. Did it all yesty - sorry for delay fella's!
  8. Guys please ensure you do not go making claims that people are "Fraud's" etc. That is not fair, stick to posting facts only and threads like this can live on... If you guys don't, then threads like this get shut down.
  9. Pity the De-Reg cert proves absolutely nothing, nor do 'log books' Don't waste Admin time by reporting threads that have factually proved you to be incorrect.
  10. Recently found out that new Project Mu pads don't like an old rotors (that has another brand pad material on them), makes them hard to bed. Otherwise have not heard of that before then and it was only that brand. I know people who's swapped DS3000s in for a track day and back to a shitty pad for street and it was ok so could be select situations
  11. The street pad they come with isn't bad for street and what they are in a standard kit form type thing. But having then changed mine to DS2500, you can certainly notice a difference/improvement in all areas... So if you are just circuit then yeah, change them. If just street duties leave them as is... Or... get a set of DS3000 or another track only oriented type pad and swap the D2 pad back in afterwards for daily driving (some people do that too)
  12. Loved them personally - good compromise for a car that still gets street driven. Once they are around 30-25% left they tend to break up if you hit the track or push them hard on a hills run etc so just be mindful of that, but then they are a lot cheaper than other options that don't.
  13. Hmmm... Without original screen dumps (so people can't change things....) ... Gonna be hard to keep this thread open
  14. I couldn't help but wet myself with laughter when a certain good friend sent this link over... http://www.autoindustriya.com/auto-industry-news/rota-wheels-warns-against-counterfeit-products.html How quickly people forget what their own line-up is made of?
  15. You benefit from aftermarket management/tunes with a stock turbo... So anything more than that, is most certainly going to be required.
  16. Number removed. Thanks.
  17. Oh well that's a different story - you made it sound like it's spammers... It sounds like they are actual users? What is the actual issue with the PM's they are sending you? IF they are asking for help, questions or otherwise - your choice if you help them or not TBH. That's just part of being a user of the forums. Still making it a 10 post minimum won't alter that either, it'll just induce those users making 10 random posts around the place and then PM'ing you anyway.
  18. Just report them and we can investigate. Setting it to 10 will just mean they spam the forum to 10 posts, so it's just shifting the problem.

    Speeding

Going to court is actually going to be worse TBH. The Prosecution will go you and can still impound your car as a result, given it's classified as under the Hoon Laws now (40km/h+)... So your kinda stuffed either way. Get a lawyer and talk to them. It's going to cost you 1-2k at to get a decent one for a start. Then maybe you plead to 145km/h (down from 158 so it's semi believable) but it's stil 40km/h over so you are still going to be walking. There is no way in this day and age, a Magistrate is not going to take your license and that is what the Police Prosecutor will be pushing for. Radar, Video = you've got nothing to stand on and no sop story is going to save you. If you've also ever had a previous fine, forget any leniency.
  20. Yep I get them... XXX: This guy is a user on SAU and ripped me off Me: Ok where did the transaction take place? XXX: Ebay Me: So what do you want me to do about it exactly? XXX: Ban them or help me Me: Sorry it's not a SAU based action of any kind, i really can't do anything XXX: Oh well f**k you then for not helping me out I get it ALL the time.
  21. No doubt about good intentions - Just didn't work out all that great is all I was saying, so needs looking into Boardford would be quite interesting actually. SAU-Vic hasn't been there yet!
  22. SAU-Vic should evaluate running with Alfa again for a c/ship round. Groupings were... poor. Can't get your monies worth if cars 20 sec/lap difference are all in the same groups! Good day weather wise though and gotta love a Porka GT3
  23. Backyard Traders... This is gonna end well...
