  1. Thread edited/closed. Full information about becoming a trader can be found here: ttp://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/ Admin
  2. Cartridge/part number is the same... So that'd be pretty surprising if it was different
  3. Post up the user name please. I mean I could find it, but i CBF'd and it's easier to ask
  4. 3.6k a month is not enough for "everything else" It's easily do-able and whilst borrowing 500k - that's not neccesarily how much you might need. If you played it smart and moved into a smaller 1-2 BDR townhouse or something and only needed to borrow around 400k (say you came in with a 40-50k deposit, didn't own any money on your cars) - You'd be farken laughing and still able to make either higher repayments or look towards getting an investment property a bit further out within 12-18months and the wealth builds from there really. They people that are impaling themselves are those that the Birdman described earlier, or those that moved out to the West (as you'd know)... Building these massive 4 BDR/2 Stories monstrosities and then unable to pay everything because the upkeep and bills for a place like that are farken through the roof. A mate of mine did a similar thing in Caroline Springs and is in all sorts of shit soon when we ALL told him to buy a unit in Airport West (this is 4 years ago)... If he did that he would be set and have a 2nd join already Remember you chose to have a car that burns $100 a week, as do i. My Mrs would be lucky to burn $100 a fortnight in her car as it's an max0r tampon taxi.
  5. Plenty of topics on this, end of the day - talk the the engine builder.
  6. Don't be too fast to complain about the price - it's about right. And only taking into account the Yoko Discount price (as thats the entire point behind it)... It's on a Saturday as well! Costs massively more to hire Winton on a Sat/Sun. Even @ $195 x 55 cars you only just break even If spots are capped to 50-55 cars that's a LOT of track time as opposed to loading with 65-70 cars. Add to that - you can win free entries to WTAC and also Trophies. Not bad for a 'Trackday' TBH.
  7. Go and talk to the Police about the ramifications of reporting it stolen, as they are not going to do anything unless that happens - see what they say as essentially that is what has occurred.
  8. My view has always been people in this country are overpaid for a lot of jobs. My base rate at my old job was 55k per year and i had a f**ktonne more responsibility than someone waiting on a table for only 9k difference!
  9. 1. Turbo is simply not capable of airflow @ that pressure and won't MAKE 30-35psi. 2. ECU's do not compensate 3. You should never go over what the car is tuned for, simple. A T04Z is a 400rwkw+ turbo. You have a stock motor... Do the smart thing and leave the GT35 on there before things get out of control and cost you 10k in rebuilding. The ECU has little to no relevance to the power. So if you are buying a link thinking you'll make more, you couldn't be more wrong. The T04Z is a larger turbo, so it will make more power on 98 as it doesn't need to run more than 20-22psi to make 400rwkw on 98... Where a GT35 would need 25psi or more to get to 300rwkw and that is basically the limit of the GT35 anyway on 98 GTR stock AFMs run out around 300rwkw. You can "tune past", even to 350rwkw isn't a major problem - but it's not recommended overall as best practice. And again, it's not a question of BOOST through the AFM - It's about the measuring of the airflow - which is related to boost, but it's simpler to not think of it that way I'm interested to see how a GT35 is still running stock piping... Can you show a pic of the engine bay?
  10. The Min wage to wait on tables full time, is 44k/yr or 47.5/k if you add in the super. That doesn't include any overtime etc. Even that wage isn't bad as a couple to be basically on 90k combined if you are living/working out in the burbs. Agree CBD travel would suck to the outers (40mins+ on train for eg if you chose to do that) This country is f**king wages insane.
  11. No CC option I believe - I'm not on Committee any more, so I can't say - I just grant access, nothing more/less That said, if you need something urgent, I'm sure someone can help
  12. Go into the Victorian section, and search "Tune" / "Tunes" or similar, plenty of results will be returned.
  13. Yeah it's not what you want coming into a corner to be facing in the wrong direction
  14. Be careful doing that Nath. If the rears vs fronts are not coming up to temp at the same times etc, you can end up getting the rear coming around on you which isn't a great feeling
  15. Pretty big difference between a transfer case and a diff! To do it on the cheap, properly, you're still looking at least 12k in diffs, clutch, transfer case, gearbox. That's not taking into account axles, driveshaft or anything else.
  16. I'm assuming you mean upgrading from a NON-Brembo car... By and large it's a waste of money and far better options for the $$$ out there.
  17. ^ lol exactly, everyone has been doing that for years - and that's even if a tester rocks up (not always)... If they do, they usually set up in the same spots each time, so it's not hard to work out. Also once the dude has gone home (rarely there the entire day at a club sprint)... Well... You know what to do
  18. That was cleaned up on Thurs and all those PM's deleted, you won't see them in your inbox
  19. What set of Brembo's? Bolting onto what car?
  20. He just told you - they are not bolt on, require full custom legs etc.
  21. That's the thing... They don't, as you know. Always helps to know the basic mechanics of the car you are building before you go asking for quotes.. I'm sure any workshop would be happy to charge for a 'centre diff' and the send you some metal in a box.
  22. Some parts are discontinued, some are not - it depends. HR31s/R31s went through the same thing about 2 years ago now
  23. Nah it can't be used in that fashion as we are not emailing from SAU servers, we are using Mandrill. So it will simply not send it to them next time and over time it'll refine down, no major issue other than people just being lazy... Or someone still upset over getting a warning or something Plus it works on averages IIRC, 65,000 emails / 13 "spam" - won't alter our rating in the slightest with Mandrill
  24. Hmmm 13 "spam complaints" from the newsletter... Seems people do not realise there is an "unsubscribe" at the bottom. Please don't mark them as spam, unsubscribe!
  25. Ah yeah I did think about that after it was sent, C & I missed that Should've started a thread... Just like this one lol.
