  1. Interesting! Gallery still works fine so guessing there are other issues as the forum has been doing some very weird things the past 2 weeks and we've noticed it and let Christian know. He has been doing some update with new features for Traders so might be related, might not, but it's certainly related to the "New Post" dots being missing and other strange happenings across the forum... Hold tight is all i can say! I doubt they are gone, just not showing as Gallery items are still all there
  2. How often do you drive over a 2 year period 5,000kms a year? 40,000kms a year? Impossible to say really.
  3. They've already said above... Why dig up a thread... Closed.
  4. ^ Agreed, depending on state requirements are different... Most certainly should know about the test before anything else. Also running E85 doesn't mean you instantly are "hassle free", despite the people saying how easy the test is to pass... That's only one factor as there is nothing to stop a Police officer saying "I don't think you are running E85" and off you go to the pits anyway. And while you are at it, more research on the set-up. 400rwhp does not mean getting a GTX3076 and running E85, far too much turbo for that power aim when you can get smaller and be more responsive for the same end.
  5. This is already being noted in the thread for the App, 2 below http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?/topic/421735-Noob-Sau--App'-Question Try keep it all to one thread
  6. Closed/Edited. To Trade here on SAU you are required to pay just like all other businesses who support the community and keep it running. See here for more details: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/343362-business-trader-area-rules-guidelines/ Thanks.
  7. number removed OP has said car is sold Good idea next time OP - post up in the thread, that it's actually sold so people know?
  8. It happens on the app from time to time on Android. I've found when it does happen (rarely), i jus close the app and try later (30mins+) and its working ok. Not the best solution but better than nothing for now
  9. We do not allow post editing, so that makes sense. Not sure about participated, perhaps it could be your profile settings or maybe you need to follow topics?
  10. Lol that's a bit harsh  They will look into anything in my experience... And R31s are there all the time now!
  11. You'd best off read this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/409392-r35-gtr-air-flow-meter-the-new-z32-afm/page-5?hl=%2Br35+%2Bafm#entry6959426
  12. Of course not, sometimes it takes years... Just like the fanboy's don't realise the MINES car accelerated so fast due to the diff ratio changes - not the engine/turbo setup... Notice how I didn't say responsive? Twas a pig of a car off boost so much so it can't be compared to a street application Anyway with the BC Kits (which aren't new or anything like that) - just be mindful that they weigh in more than the jap kits from what I've heard when on the scales... ie the rods/cranks are heavier than say a HKS 2.8 kit. How much? I cannot say exactly but weight on rotating bits plays a reasonable part if you are spending that kind of money IMO - You want value for it. So make sure you ask detailed questions rather than looking at price tags to make decisions.
  13. Mine are still missing in Firefox, Chrome earlier today was no different
  14. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  15. JOC - Removed the business advertising End of the day, everyone else pays to advertise so the rules are the same for you. Thanks.
  16. My HR31 was also Mechanical So yes, i mean the Mech ones not the Viscous items which are just shithouse.
  17. Oh yeah for sure, just highlighting the point that even if there is colder air flowing over it, does not necessarily mean you actually get that reported. And yes you are right, it's just a protection thing where timing is pulled IIRC in the PFC, or maybe that's water temp, i forget haha
  18. I've had both - Shimmed is "not as good as", but I personally wouldn't say it's really overtly noticeable, depends how the shimmed diff is done, how many plates etc
  19. My stock 15yo GTR Intake sensor would hit 60 degrees in traffic and once clearing it onto a freeway or otherwise it would take 2-3mins to come back down under 50 degrees, horridly slow reaction time.
  20. ^ kinda like that, but with stock diffs i could get it going around and around as if i was on a 50c coin. Post diffs, it would only get to about 3/4 around and stop... Was kinda gay in that respect. Put it this way - I could launch @ 8200rpm with 350rwkw or whatever and there would be minimal wheelspin with 285/18 AD08s, it would just grip and fly outta the hole. There was no wheelspin 2nd/3rd at all.
  21. You were not in Dan's email so... Nope? I only give access to people he tells me, if you applied in the last 2 weeks you wouldn't be in that group as it likely hasn't completed processing yet.
  22. This. Although I believe maybe pressure as well? More lockup, sends power forward better... Drive one with the mod and one without and you really notice a difference in minutes it's that obvious Also they are on average 15years old and often overlooked in terms of servicing/replacing etc
  23. Also stock GTR sensors are so slow to react you'd never know what you were really seeing anyway. Should've used a decent sensor that'll actually give an accurate result.
