  1. Yet my old C2D E8400 clocked to 4.2ghz, 4 years old, still relatively fine with most games. It only struggled on CPU intensive game moments and would go back to perfect soon as that passed. Realistically AMD have no other market than the "value" one to be in given their performance. It's actually quite a shame AMD have dropped the ball so much as Intel really have no competition in the desktop/workstation space. The server work space is a different kettle of fish however with Ivy Bridge the power savings are even greater so it really does put even more heat on. That all said Intel will run into problems with their Tick-Tock process when they get past 14nm, it's really going to get tough but that is a few years away yet
  2. Interesting: Long Course Track Length 1700 metres Average Grade of 10.95% With a vertical rise of some 175 + metres Although seems it's only a 35-40sec run for a modified GT-R type person if Mackrell does it in 37 given Chris has similar times @ HH, so maybe 45-60 sec for the average Skyline punter. If only there was something more extended to around the 2-2:30 mark in Vic, that would be sweeeeet.
  3. More detail about this hillclimb track in Ararat plz. lol.
  4. Gotta be at least half a dozen threads in the FS section at the moment with them for sale!
  5. haha you didn't hear Aaron giving me "foul" jokes all afternoon cause of that lol. Funny as fark. Gotta love SAU-Vic, cracks me up to no end the characters in the club.
  6. Great timing on the shot too btw Grant It was dead by that point Battery light was flashing as we lined up. So you see Campbell & Dean dishing it out and just as I move off it died. Spewing as it would've looked awesome
  7. So you're buying a GTR next?
  8. That was the f**king GEESE man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was trying to avoid some epic front end carnage for Jacks car just before that shot. They were all over the middle of the course so i had to go off-road to avoid and that was the end result as i sure as fark wasn't going to lift off and ruin a run because of some foul play and listen to you jokers gimme even more sh*t Only just made the corner before going up the grass hill/mount bit, looks like it was a little closer than i thought as it didn't seem "too" bad at the time
  9. The horn? Really? But yeah maybe it is a GT-R thing, it's the feeling of having your guts thrown back on a solid hookup with the 4WD launch that really gets me
  10. Sorry man but it's true! Serious! I think about my GTR all the time but i know I will have another, so i just focus on that (well, try to)
  11. 10 years ago a R34 GT-t was unheard of and fetched well over 40k! Oh it'll happen alright, every day for MONTHS!
  12. That said I miss the car, bad. After driving a mates GTR @ DECA on Sat, just reaffirmed just how well my car was setup with a no expense spared attitude. Not saying my mates wasn't done right, his is a daily so it needs to be driveable and not have 1.5 way diffs like mine etc. Ah
  13. Once you have decided to sell - do it. I lost too many nights of sleep debating selling/not. Took me a month to post it up... But overall glad I sold it... On to bigger and better things as they say.
  14. haha ye it does sit pretty high Later this week i'll get a shot of a lowered 34R with my old SA90s (18x10.5 with 285). It looks very tough.
  15. Bet you get an EPA in the mail
  16. It has it in the video name
  17. That's why you get 18s and lower it so it doesn't look like a tractor! Fill the guards nicely then with the right wheel combo and improve the handling and everything else.
  18. How long is a piece of string? Depending on age, use, condition, servicing, fuel - and anything else you can think of - will depend on how long it will last. Will it last forever? Highly unlikely. Have seen people with only 450rwhp end up having to rebuild after 2-3 years of circuit racing as the motors just started to breathe heavy. So not blown, and not tune related, just age and use. If you can't/don't want to rebuild, then don't chase the power. It's as simple as that really.
  19. I need a tyre for my single spinning commodore to do a burnout $25?
  20. Leaf outta Usain's book of tricks
  21. MORE SHIT PODIUM INTERVIEWS FFS
  22. Wow barely any showing of what would likely be some of teh hottest of all rounds
  23. Mmm loose
  24. Buy from SAU Traders - the end
  25. I don't get why people don't have an alarm, decently installed... Stops all of this for less than $400! If it's installed correctly rather than "generically", you have to put it on a flat bed to steal it basically. More than just a deterrent if done right
