  1. GSS write up - is up. Good pics as always http://gripshiftslide.com/2012/09/17/sau-september-deca-day/
  2. Cleaned again, warnings to follow. If you do not like the price, tough shit - don't post or stir shit.
  3. Well i said apparently. I CBF'd digging further into it to find out if there is any truth
  4. We've got repeaters internally on each floor - i get perfect reception everywhere with anything lol. In other news -iPhone 5 4G won't work in OZ apparently. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2409694,00.asp Gotta love that
  5. Yes both of those are exactly what a cooler pipe blow off will do as the air is not being read correctly and its dumping fuel but not getting air.
  6. My screen has effectively died - it's flickering, altering the resolution etc. 100% not a firmware problem as it comes and goes, something in it is internally farked connector wise i reckon cause if you tap it in a certain area it comes good lol. Unfortunate compared to me Sensation/HD2 - they were really good.
  7. Weird i missed a few posts to this thread! Looks like you got outta the wrong bed on that Fri Nik Love a good rant! Fill it out people, the Gov't are pushing it hard - so fill it out and get everyoen you know to do it as well to actually help the results be beneficial rather than filled with minority muppetry.
  8. It's only the One X that doesn't have a removeable battery - one phone in an entire sea... Not a big issue. However HTC's quality control is another issue entirely with 3 mates including myself outta 5 having issues with our One X's Thats another topic entirely though, seems they are going down the path of Apple for quality checking. Yeah 500,000 is not much though. + how many of them are on 4G at the same time A mate of mine actually is in dev for Telstra under mobile ops so playing around with this stuff all the time, i'll see if i can get more info from him. Agree RE: 3G in the CBD, Telstra has been struggling bad for 12 months now.
  9. Yeah its early days yet and the initial results are too odd to be convincing. They certainly seem to be easier to remap from reading i did a while back, most likely then means they are the same (or similar) to a VQ style Wonder if anyone has pulled down a R35 AFM and can confirm?!?!? Hence is this a case of brining more problems into the system for the sake of $150 if they are going to have more issues.
  10. Yeah true. Not really hard to chop a Z32, it's only plastic Problem as already said is then getting the mapping sorted really based on the piping size. Potentially could cost you more in tuning/testing to do it as opposed with going the known option at this point. I know this is a bit further along - Wonder what the life span of a R35 AFM will be hehe
  11. You dont need to take the wheel off to get the guard liner out and have a look, its a 5-10min job depending on how fast you are.
  12. Yep... Likely the turbo side cooler hose. So the whole splash guard will need to come off to have a look-see.
  13. Also note the fact it's not running PULP - you are talking 109, thats the biggest difference and lets you get away with a lot more
  14. They aren't bolt in, you'd need to fab up a custom insert for them. Have a look @ his pictures in the first post - you can see the fab'd pipe as the sensor is a rectangle about the size of a matchbox (roughly).
  15. There are plenty of SAU traders that stock tyres, and all things considered - their pricing is the best you will find locally in almost all instances.
  16. Yesterday's quali Race 2 yesterday delivered the goods. Edge of the seat for the 20 odd laps. Todays 500 was a bit boring overall
  17. Never had waffles? you are missing out big time
  18. The car i was driving the other week had a built motor. You'd probably expect it to be a bit lazier on the stock engine.
  19. When I say "on", you aren't making "full boost" - given such a term is silly. Is "full boost" 5psi or 50? By 3300rpm the torque is coming on and boost is really driving so at a stab maybe 10psi which is 10psi more than a set of -5s would at the same RPM. Every setup varies but i think 3000rpm for them to be really moving is a bit of an impossibility.
  20. Right so in one line you are saying this: A R35 GTR AFM into a Z32 housing, that then maxes out @ 300rwkw. So in effect you are taking a step back because the original Z32 would flow more than 300rwkw. From the pictures your original AFM is far too close to the turbo inlet so it comes as little surprise you have driveability problems. I know people with SR's under 300rwkw and AFMs and none of them have any of the issues you are talking about. This is all just sounding like you had a setup with issues and you've simply fixed them in a round-a-bout type of way rather than their actually being any real gains, aside from the very strange dyno results. Could perhaps be the tune was given more attention as well.
  21. And i said that it doesn't. The sensor in stock Z32 80mm housing will have the resolution for over 300rwkw in singular form. GTR AFM's are not 80mm. Nismo replacements which are similar to a Z32 also do not have issues @ 300rwkw given you have two of them. So again not sure what you are trying to get at because the results clearly show otherwise in almost every single instance. I've never seen anyone max a Z32 @ 300rwkw in 80mm form. AFMs are not a restriction. So again - guessing isn't good enough. So it just sounds like you had a poor setup prior? Be that tune of AFM. I've had various AFM setups (factory & custom) for years and never had any stalling issues to speak of. Stalling comes down the tuner ability & also the AFM position. Unfortunately a lot of people get the AFM position wrong and then blame the AFM when it's actually their own fault for putting it too close to the turbo inlet and the reverb causes issues.
  22. A Z32 maxes out @ 300rwkw in stock piping? Since when? First I've heard of this and plenty of people have made well beyond that. From your graph results, it just looks like the dyno has been done with a different ramp rate rather than any actual improvement. I find it hard to believe just a AFM/air sensor swap would give you an extra 40rwkw @ 3500rpm. Do you have the original print out of the blue run, before it was overlayed?
  23. haah nah the grills alone are going to be costing upwards of 8k each i believe It's not being done on the cheap
  24. Special discount?
  25. All will be revealed shortly. Still a bit of legal to finish off - it's a good thing, a lot of homework has been done.
