  1. Come on guys ffs. You are all to blame here, keep it civil for gods sake.
  2. I was just asking, and given the response it sounds like i wasn't far off the mark
  3. So a glorified PA by the sound of it. 45k pa?
  4. Plenty run a 3" that just steps out to 4" @ the comp housing to get a hose around. In fact that's how most are done come to think of it given a Z32 isn't 4"
  5. I've run 20psi before, didn't give much different in a GTR though from memory. So you can drop them a bit and experiement Made a difference when i was racing my GTS-R regularly though (between .1-.2 consistently)
  6. 1.5 will be very impressive if you can manage it. On an airport surface with Hoosier Drag Radials i was managing 1.5 60ft (8000rpm launches), but then they were on 28psi or so and not under 20psi like they should've. I forget what i ran with street tyres now. It might actually have been 1.7 - honestly can't remember. Either way a 1.59 is VERY good for street rubber but is indicative of lower power. You might find the rears will turn a bit harder with the extra 60rwkw
  7. ^ +1 Without even knowing where the failure(s) are, its nothing but pointless speculation that will do nobody any favours.
  8. You have 4WD, you don't need a switch - you need to read the GTR launch threads in this section. On a decent road tyre you should be able to get ~1.9 60ft in a R33 with 300-380rwkw with some practice. Which is pretty decent.
  9. Doubt it lol. Entry for public goes live tomorrow so that'll keep me busy again and Friday i intend to have a night off to relax
  10. KU36s are normal street tyres. They are just a higher performance one. Too many people get confused these days and think they are a semi comp, which they simply are not.
  11. And that is what it's about
  12. I love people who just sign up to e-war, but not as i love banning said people who sign up to e-war!
  13. People usually just bed/seat the rings on the dyno, and full power off you go. So bearings all sorted then too would be what one would take from that.
  14. No time tonight, SAU Nats for the next 4hrs for me
  15. You certainly did a good number on the gear. If you are going to bust something, always pays to do it in style! Going to replace the gear and try again? Are there other(stronger) options?
  16. Well you didn't need to swap the parts over, it was a choice. Just like it's your choice to go and get a tune sooner rather than later. So keep babying it and say a little prayer each night.
  17. If you see knock increase, most people generally stop pushing the car so the knock doesn't occur. They then go and get a retune, as changing parts usually requires this.
  18. Heathcote was - but the timing has become that bad now. Last time i was there one lane wasn't even working. Same has occurred with a few mates as well recently. HH is definately more fun for $$
  19. Heathcote timing never works, track condition depends on the moon. Not worth driving up there for it. Better off going to Calder on a proper track with timing even though it costs more and you get less runs
  20. Amazing Ben! Will watch videos when i get home for some more ear porn oooh yeah Sucks about the gearbox, tends to happen though when going as hard as you are. What is the next event you are aiming for? Ah the old term "street".
  21. Hence i said: IF It's always a gamble. If they don't you are laughing. Good course HH, kinda miss doing that one the most actually
  22. Only 2 problems 1. If they get 100 cars, you really don't get many runs at all (where WRX is 80) 2. It's CAMS and not AASA, so anyone without CAMS it's extra $$ They are still better than cold high performance road tyre like a AD08 - so it's not a major concern. It's more the brakes and having no heat in them on the reverse Fig 8 given after you launch you can have some fair speed going and need to jump on the anchors. Lots of time to be gained there if you know your braking setup performance from cold.
