    How Often?

How long is the below? You answer that, I'll answer your question. Police - police the entire state. There are the well known hot-spots, but outside of that throw a coin, as it comes down to luck.
  2. Trust. Good in theory, bad in practice - impossible to work on with them that big
  3. Surely no need to keep talking about the entrance? Next it'll be "what happens if it rains"...
  4. The whole point of getting a RWC is to ensure the car is safe. Wish you silly kids would stop asking here about trying to find a dodgy one. Given various photo's need to be taken of the car, in the actual workshop, trying to find a dodgy one is few and far between these days anyway. Fix the car properly and you won't have a problem getting a RWC.
  5. And before i went silver.
  6. Been covered plenty of times before - please use the search function.
  7. half finished... strange i cant find a photo of the completed job anywhere
  8. Everyone got in fine last time. "dicey" or not.
  9. If you were going to pull out the H-patter, you'd go a liberty (or similar) over a holinger in a drag application, much cheaper as well incidentally.
  10. wear indicators are just that, indicators. the inside or outside of the tyre can most certainly be "more worn" than the marker/centre points and be deemed unroadworthy.
  11. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  12. What about the stronger 3rd gear? Any word on that?
  13. Yes get as close to the target PSI as you can, makes the job of the EBC a lot easier to get right
  14. MPH will rise, and also fall A better 60ft (.4 drop you are aiming for) generally will mean a lower MPH by 2-3MPH on average is what I found when racing regularly. Stripping KG will increase - so overall you should be in front though it might not be as much as you are expecting if it hooks up nicely
  15. "Gav" & "R32-TT" (i think thats wrong lol) - both WA users they have Quaife fronts. I believe Gav is around at the moment and not away for work, drop him a PM As i said in my PM's, it wasn't just the front diff. Also had a modified transfer case & rear diff - its the overall that makes a difference as when i just had a front it was good, after the rear was done it was sensational.
  16. I knew it would be a good post. I agree, well said
  17. It's KONY all over again. Give it a week.
  18. Never had those ET calcs work that well because they don't take things like diff gearing into account for one (of the many many other factors). Have a look @ the drag thread and base it of that & the power associated, it's got specific times to Skylines which is far more relevant and suggests the calcs are not as accurate as what people actually go and run. Take NUTR33 for example: 360rwkw - [email protected] Far cry from 500rwkw and already into the 130mph mark.
  19. If memory serves me correct 400-420rwkw in a 1750/1800kg car(inc driver) is ~130mph. Closer to 400-450rwkw does seem about right Not having a go here either, the MPH is always a good indicator. Video the run at all?
  20. Yes and this is my point. She wasn't famous or anything a week ago. So why do they (public) know about it, why is the media focusing on it? Aside from the industry - Maybe because she is attractive/white/female? Why do people only care when it's shoved in their faces on the front page of every paper & news station? Not that any of the above questions will be answered - although I'm sure Birdman will have interesting views on such a topic It's still farked either way (the killing bit).
  21. I don't get why the media is focusing on the Jill Meagher case so much though. I mean yeah it's terrible and all that, killing someone is not right no matter how farked in the head you are - and I say bring back the electric chair. But people are killed all the time and receive no media attention at all and cases drag on for months/years as a result. The only reason i can think of, it because she was in the industry. Does it mean the media does not care about the deaths and murders of other people as much? What about the public, Facebook groups springing up all over the place for instance with people that otherwise wouldn't know about the murders and other heinous crimes that are committed each day. Raises interesting questions.
  22. Pretty clear what I was asking. You got a little too excited with the responses me thinks... Go and look where the question mark was placed and try again
