  1. It's obviously a very broken system and you are in a decent spot in terms of bosses. Certainly cannot be said for the greater swing though in a few of my court visits over the years and all the wins. Problem being though costs were awarded but it was minimal. If it was a golden rule though that Police had to cover a certain % of a loss, and had to go via a review panel if they disputed it, it would certainly make things better IMO. Of course Police wouldn't agree and i can see why - but the public needs some sort of recourse for all this rouge type of behaviour and time wasting
  2. 1. The car won't run. So it won't be possible. 2. It will not reset.
  3. I actually watched most of the 500 start/finish. Got up to make food and do some emails but could still have the TV in earshot should something interesting happening. Lots did happen over the course of the race, was some good moments, but like all enduro there was a good slabs of sections where there was no action and hence doing other things Bring on Bathurst. Always a good enduro to watch, especially pit stops given brakes are being changed and other fun things. I do like the CH7 commentary too, getting in and among the teams in real time with interviews constantly for updates is really interesting and some good characters in the paddock as always.
  4. I can go have a look if you CBF'd Martin, I'm only 5mins away from it and tend to be going past pretty often Just lemme know.
  5. Or just packing tape
  6. Very close Certainly would recommend the mod. Was funny Mick has just had the R34 transfer done and was talking to him today. He commented on how different it was moving the power around without me even saying anything - i just nodded, is modded, is good! Very interesting the time differences though on Long Wang compared to previous. Is the flying finish worth 10 seconds? Or was the finishing point a bit closer? (struggling to remember).
  7. sorry boys no time this week, got Nats stuff to sort out over the next 6 days. I had a brief crack @ AK just now though, maps... big... not sure if i can deal with it. Ill sort a night for next week no drama.
  8. Pretty happy with my results with 2 more WDs to my name. Just thanking my starts Kat didn't beat me (top 10 is v.well done)... the amount of shit would've tripled had that've happened me thinks gotta lol @ the duck hunt run being faster of the two, jebus! Standout performer that Mike, slowly edging closer to that win. ps. in theory - i beat you all. Again.
  9. Yeah Master. not to be confused with GM of course - top of our bracket last season with 52-11 lol. This season 18-6 cause we've been mucking around a bit and talking shit without paying attention This is for 3v3 btw - some of the guys i used to play WC3 tournaments with (the online ones), we were 75% after 600 games there as well. Fun times when you play with people that you actually know and understand. I don't solo - too intensive as you say I find arranged teams are much less stressful as randoms generally play like idiots without a purpose
  10. software raid or hardware?
  11. Not even i know what Birds did lol. Im too busy ATM to actually find out as well. Farken SAU Nats
  12. Yeah I still get onto US West or if desperate SEA. I only really play with mates now, sit roughly @ 75-80% win in master league - anything else just frustrates me as the game's laddering system rewards mass gamers with no skill more than it does those with skill. See it constantly where players should never be past Platinum but they've grinded out 10,000 games and Blizzard lets them into Masters which is a farken joke and they are terrible. Bring back the WC3 matching system - it worked perfectly to pit you against players of your skill level - just didn't work as the game died out, some minor enhancements could've fixed it and all good SC2 system was meant to never have "search time problem", but lo and behold I've now got 5min+ times consistently on US West just like on WC3
  13. And car loaded up for 5-10 seconds (2000rpm to 3000rpm) with cams will bring on boost harder. Do it in 2nd/3rd or on/off & between gear changes and the story is not the same as being full loaded/primed. I could get -5s coming on under 4000rpm when fully loaded from 2000rpm (probably 10 seconds to get there in 4th). Is that realistic for what you can expect 99% of the time you drive it? No. Depends on the use and how you drive it.
  14. Darren & Dan... two that we never see either lol. Driving mate - No doubt a thread will go up in the events section (VIC) - it'll be some stupid epic convoy of 50 cars. I can see it already in my daydreams
  15. Interestingly (semi on topic) the AMS AFMs they move to near the throttles in their kits. Reading the AMS forums the amount of issues they are having with stalling and backfiring seems like it could be more trouble than it's worth (using that positioning). Just something else to think about given people at times to move AFM to the post cooler region. Maybe they are a tad more sensitive to pressure, hard to say as I've not read much more.
  16. Good time to get back involved with the FA's mate It's all still alive and kicking - first event, should be SAU Nats - Funny that all the FA's are coming up for that as well looks like
  17. Bump Some bits still here. Will entertain offers close to the mark
  18. You mean Intel Rapid Storage Tech? It's available now under Win7 depending on what mobo you have - it's not a O/S level thing as its hardware/controller based. I'm not convinced it's a good move for a power user or one that likes to fiddle/tweak. Gaming will remain to be seen, doubt it'll make much difference yet.
  19. Oh ye forgot to reply to this one. He meant his profile under "cars", guessing he worked it out as when i looked @ the thread it was changed (can DIY that one)
  20. If there was a servo semi-near that had it (couple hundred KMs) then it would be viable for them to do it given the tanker is only going up the road. But sending much further out is unlikely unless there were 2-3 servos in the area. Not sure Wodonga has the population to support it. I mean I'm sure there are a few workshops up there who would like to have it as they are probably shipping it in already anyway
  21. I've had 2 blacks running for 4 years RAID0 as well without issue. Guess its largely pot luck. Some have problems, some don't - just like all HDD's. There is a failure rate but its low for most. No doubt on my next build im going to have at least 1 or 2 of the 10 drives shit themselves
  22. RESULTS !!!
  23. They are right really. E85 wouldn't count for 1% of the sales there if you look at it over the course of a month in terms of volume and also the logistics to get it there if there isn't another near by - which is probably more the point from a distro network point of view. They'd have to fill a tanker here or in Syd and send it down for one servo. Also if it's off the highway that makes it even less unlikely especially given everyone already jerry cans for a decent price here in Melb. I wouldn't drive an hour north, and then an hour south just to get fuel for Winton - I'd BYO By all means try but i reckon you'd be pushing up a hill at this point in time. 18months it might be different like all things.
  24. I've had greens running on the Perc 5/i for maybe 3 years now 24x7. No issues yet and there are 4 drives. Only issue is needing a fan, can be a tad noisy unless you insulated a case or something as I'm just using old PC cases as the mounts as they have 5-6 bays each which works fine. So i really need $1400+ so i can make a back up as i have a spare Perc 5/i & 8 SAS.
  25. IMO it wont help at all and requires far too much effort, plus meguires stuff i find is far overpriced and underperforms Do what i did (warning: the below will fire people up lol) Get a buffer out and cut down a buff pad. Using cutters, same as that with car detailing, bit of water and off you go. It'll come up a treat in a very short period of time with all the shit removed easily. The area's the buff cant reach just use a rag for those and some elbow grease if needed. You can do the same on the outside as well and then just sandpaper with a buffer back going back to 2000grit/wet or whatever you feel happy with in terms of finish and then just polish up. Just make sure you don't get the surface too hot when cutting/sanding and they should come up almost clear/like new without a problem and sure beats doing it by hand and taking 4x as long. Sometimes the insides just cannot be cleaned up too well though and will still be cloudy afterwards, but they will look massively better. With a buff I had each lense done in around 10-15mins if you are prepped and ready to go. I had 4 done in just over an hour but did stop to talk shit, was @ a mates workshop at the time.
