  3. Hi mate. Plug "insurance" into the search, and make sure you are in the Vic section... Or select "advanced" and do it that way. Insurance depends on many factors that no one company is always the best: age, driving history, modifications, postcode car is parked in - just to name a few. From the search you'll find a list of companies everyone uses, you should then ring each for a quote. cheers
  4. haha yeah my $100 rusty special 3.5" exhaust was fine for 365rwkw, changed to a more expensive 3.5" - no change... Although the headache would've been eliminated as the drone was waaaay excessive with the el-cheapo single muffler (if you could call it that) setup.

  8. Key bit of info you left out there... You have a HKS 2.8 stroker, that changes how the -5s drive quite noticeably as well don't forget
  9. I also need to rebuild my server - 5TB and its full. Need to go and blow a good $700 on drives, maybe more. Love my Perc 5/i - can load up 8 drives all in RAID5 no drama and it moves files around very snappy
  10. Reduce the risk of what? RAID0/1 is the only thing that really carries risk. The whole point of RAID5 etc is the redundancy.
  11. If you've got a stock turbo, anything that is true 3" will be fine. They will all flow near enough to the same for the sake of the discussion as 3" piping and straight through mufflers are only ever going to flow a certain amount when not under pressure, so no-one will have tested it and I've never see any such results anywhere. Where the dB factor comes in is how well the mufflers are made and associated with that is weight in most cases.
  12. How many entries are being allocated for the Sat? Class U seems to be what our guys would fit into. I'm asking as I see you've only allowed 75mins for each timed session, and only 3 sessions... For $195 One car drops oil that's session over would be the concern of most Sorta sounds more like a showcase rather than a competition.

  15. No you wont. I've had 3 motors with filled blocks now, sits 70 degrees with a tri-pass radiator on a 25 degree day... Pretty standard for quite a lot of builders out there really. Only difference is "how much" is filled, people have their own ideas etc.
  16. The BC cranks are noticeably heavier when compared to something like a HKS counter balanced item, hence why the kits are so cheap
  17. No controller at all in my car, never got around to putting the one I had in. It would've made difference I'm told, but obviously not as much as mechanically. So just transfer case done, whatever that involves - I don't know exactly what Racepace do to it and as long as it works i don't care, but whatever it is the difference is really night/day
  18. There is also another controller (that isn't listed in that thread). It's adjustable but 3 dials if memory serves me correct. I had one although never installed it though as I acquired it not long before i sold the GTR. There is no branding on it or anything so not sure where it came from exactly, i should go and get it from my mates place. Also interesting is the talk about the transfer case being there good gains are - and attending to that - seems they are catching on to what some have been doing for quite a long time where by some say the gains are 70% mechanical / 30% electronic. Having driven a GTR weekend past without a stock transfer case vs my modded one (both 33R), the difference was utterly unbelievable. You'd think they were two different cars that's the level of difference between the two. Modded has so much more drive out of corners you feel like you are being pulled rather than pushed compared to unmodded where it feels like a GTR is very much still RWD until the system realises whats going on and tries to get the fronts working but once you are sideways/sliding it's too late anyway.
