Dba Rotors On R34 Gtr
R31Nismoid replied to Iron Mike's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
lol... The GB has been "in the wings" for 12 months, there has been distributor issues, so outta my hands unforuntately. All look to be fixed now as of last week. Not sure if it'll be just Skyline only or not yet though is the only question mark (as long as the price is approved also) -
Hmm... don't think so? lol... The boost sensor was broken that day - so it was reading exactly half

R34 Stock Turbo Inlet And Exhaust Wheel Specs
R31Nismoid replied to RB25 SKYLINE's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It's all about being sensible. Look @ the people running 300rwkw+ on stock motors. Slowly they are showing they aren't up to the test of time... No doubt over the next 18 months more will pop as there are a few more guys over the 300rwkw marker now and 20psi+. So it will be interesting. Although side point, how many of them are actually over 300rwkw remains to be seen. Some have done 1/4 runes lately and been a good 5mph down, another issue all together that one really. If you don't ever want to rebuild/push the envelope there are lots of guysing sitting @ 250rwkw and 16psi (with a hi-flow) and they have been running now for many years so it would appear to be quite reliable. Obviously every motor is different and you don't know the history but you can only look at this things on the majority basis. It ultimately comes down to what you want / what you and the tuner agree is safe. -
I fken hate the a$$holes that do that.

Got it in one mate. It's just the O2 sensor bung that's different Some companies list the same part number, but include an adaptor. So they make them to one spec, but include an adaptor for the newer model sensors.

Dba Rotors On R34 Gtr

And more to the point, it's not worth it. You can buy a full 356mm 8-piston D2 kit for example for ~ $2200. They are tried and proven to work by myself and a few other users here (some are WTAC guys for instance). So sell off the front Brembo's for $1200 with rotors/pads and the whole upgrade has cost you $1000 Or wait for the group buy i've just about nailed now (ye i know it's taken ages, but we have new supplier keen to deal), and it'll be ~$1750, meaning it'll cost ya ~$500 to do a major upgrade Cheap! -
R34 Stock Turbo Inlet And Exhaust Wheel Specs

Definately NOT standard mate A RB turbo hi-flow really doesn't have "too" many options as it's a fairly tried and proven forumla So you could expect somewhere around the 250-280rwkw mark on 18-20psi (PULP), and still maintain resonable response with it coming on around 3500rpm give/take - all of that is reasonably standard for the OP6 hi-flow (NEO turbo). If you get the compressor/turbine wheel measurements of that turbo, people could give you a rough idea of the power and response it'll be capable of or at the least let you know if it's potentially mis-matched. As sometimes in the past people have used compressor wheels that are far to big resulting in a surgy hi-flow, although it seems most manufactuers have stopped doing about 5 years ago so chance are it'll be a good unit whatever spec/variation it will be -
Also a user on here, good mate, had a cyclist go through the back windscreen of his car a few months back because he wasn’t paying attention and doing about 40-50km/h at the time. Damage to the bodywork all over the rear, it was an expensive Merc so it was a costly fix It went through Insurance etc so no drama there… BUT… The cyclist had no insurance at all. So it went through courts or whatever and is paying $25 per week to cover the damages, which is a joke. It’ll take 30 years to pay off. This is the kinda stuff that is bullsh*t and needs to be regulated. If bike riders are going to share the road – they must also share the costs and have insurance in the event such a situation occurs. Obviously rego shouldn’t be $696. Maybe $100 or something and Govt to make sure insurance is cheap ($50). But yeah, just one of my many gripes

Bike riders certainly need to be clamped down on. Nothing shits me more than having them 3 wide and having to wait to go around them for ages on a busy road. They just don't care.

Just Bought A R32 Gt-R :) Need Advice
R31Nismoid replied to geetea-are's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Very interesting. I noticed no difference in economy. A mate in an EVO tells me he gets another 40kms to a tank (it's his daily and takes the same route to work 5 days a week). And you say it's worse. Could perhaps be tune related on all 3 accounts? I could also dump in a few more degrees of timing using 100 if i really wanted. Although seat of the pants i couldn't really see much different from +2 -
517z in 8cm make a bit more than that from memory, but you do pay the price in lag as Nick & Jack will tell you, they are a bit lazy.

Whos Interested In The Gt3076r/gt3037 In 52 Trim ?
R31Nismoid replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
+1 Long as he doesn't go circuit racing and running more boost than he should, he won't have any problems at all.
