  1. haha yeah cooking for 100 people on the DECA "BBQ" isn't the easiest thing in the world
  2. Indeed I did always wonder this. Will be interesting to see the result... It wasn't just the actuator that was modified though I probably should've hooked up my EVC5 - but meh, it was just another case of more money spend for potentially no gain, like going from stock to Tomei dumps, and the results were certainly inline with everyone else around the place.
  3. haha ye hence why im about to quit IT and open a business in the hospitality area
  4. I've not run a EBC for 8 years
  5. Exactly. I was driving a mates GTR with -7s not 7 days ago. I can tell you now by 3300rpm it was well and truly game on where my -5s were ~4000-4200rpm. -9s are about 3400-3500rpm. Yet when you dyno the cars, the graphs come on & look very similar (nowhere near 800rpm), due to ramp rates and other factors.
  6. Response? No. Fixing your obvious boost control issues however would have a very noticeable gain.
  7. Pretty obvious you are a business. So short answer - no. Long answer - if you are to come on board as a SAU Trader, then the answer might be yes.
  8. Yeah but don't forget there is hardly anyone on 4G at the moment
  9. Ok enough reporting - Joe's post is not out of line, unlike the others who've been dealt with. Joe is simply going over the estimated costs to get the car to a certain level which is based on the information / pictures you've supplied based on what else is currently on the market. There is a point of being reasonable here.
  10. Plenty has changed. Plenty of warnings are being given out (when people report), slowly but surely it changes. Amount of reports have been lower so that is usually a good sign.
  11. Well mine only cost me $800 as it was a mate and the case was so open/shut type of wrong that it didn't even make it to the court room. Prosecution dropped charges the 'morning of' once they actually sat down and read what the Officer was attempting to get through. It's the abuse of the system where-by charges like that can be brought about without any real review. If the prosecution clearly saw it as a farce, how it made it past the officers' superiors/review is utterly beyond me and just shows how broken it is that such stuff can occur like that. Good on you for sticking up for yourself even in the face of excessive costs. If only more people did it and showed the Police they are not a law unto themselves on these types of things
  12. Exactly. A 3" CAT as linked is simply not big enough... For 400rwkw you are really going to be pushing shit up a hill to have a single exhaust that has a CAT, and does not have a restriction.
  13. Why not upgrade to D2 356mm or Ksport? They are a bolt on affair, tried/proven - sell off your Brembo's and it'll cost you MAX $1000, more likely closer to $500 The upgrade price is almost unfathomable it's that cheap to do.
  14. I've had the same shit happen to myself before by Police putting charges up without proof. The system farken stinks. Police should be made to them foot a % of the costs out of their pay. It would make them think twice before making up fanciful claims and wasting public time/money
  15. First up the -5s should be making more than 50rwhp more. It should be near 100. End of the day there are 100 threads on this topic, you need to up and decide for yourself really. Changing diffs will help traction, always does. OEM diffs are not the best, especially after 15 years, they do need attention and it will help.
  16. Paul might know the weight of his HKS one. About as funny as calling a turbo rubbish because it doesn't have a compressor map available? I can't remember the exact weight difference, not talking a couple of grams here either.
  17. Mine was GPU limited rather than memory so bit hard to make a call there. I will try it again soon on the highest settings now i have a GTX670, should go nice
  18. Quicker? Looks even to me. And you can't tell if the R35 or Bike jumps @ the start.
  19. Keep the chat here - specs in the other as its far easier to read that way
  20. It was fine under my x64 Win7 - when i only had 4gb of RAM at that point So should be perfectly fine.
  21. Holy fark that sounds insane
  22. Don't be stupid Paul, there are no compressor maps so they are rubbish.
  23. I'd take the original version anyway in this instance
  24. Just get a heat gun out and do one side at a time if you don't want to oven it. (ive done it that way with 2 sets). You can touch feel to ensure you aren't making it "too" hot, or if you are you'll smell it lol. Once it's fairly warm to touch it'll either start separating easily or it won't. If it doesn't just give it a little more time for the heat to soak through the plastic into the glue. Obviously you need to remove all the clips before hand. The only real tricky area is the careful on the end/curve edges on the side where the parker light is. They can break off/crack easily if you put too much pressure onto them so you tend to need to have the heat in there and be careful with how much pressure. If you take off the other sides (the bulk of the cover) first it makes it much easier
  25. Or just get some thin wire and mark out the route - and go to a store. That's what i did years ago, only takes a few mins and you know that wat it's right and also choose the right speedflow fitting as well (90 degree or straight depending on where it is) Pirtek, Enzed, Purple Pig, HIS Hose - im sure there are more places
