  1. BTW Tweety you get your wish next year. Most people won't be able to watch most races next year because it is heading to Foxtel....
  2. well I was close....3 Nissans in the top 10, and the car that came 1st is the one that put the 2nd placed Nissan into the wall at griffin's
  3. Hurrah for Nissan 3rd....fingers crossed
  4. lol yep....I've been to plenty of race meets that have a lunch break, just none mid race before. Wasn't it Stu that put that tar down?
  5. Hello Bathurst Day. Jimmy is in 2nd atm.....GO JIMMY!!!!
  6. once you have the part code in Fast you need to return to the main menu and look up the part number (press F5). But if you spoke to Nissan parts and they didn't tell you that, they didn't want your money..... interestingly I've never had to change that bush on the race car. BTW full part number seems to be 56219-24U01, well for series 3 r33 gtr at least, US$12.43 from amayama via japan
  7. lol we all see that track all the time with super cars and assume its pretty open...in reality the chase is blind, off camber and tight... anyway, its a super sprint not a race; so generally well signalled overtaking is OK, even in corners. But not banging panels or running the other car out of road
  8. yeah pretty much, it starts next to the club house which is a bit down from forrest elbow. still plenty of conrod to get you going before the chase
  9. Any seats (or rails) that fit R32, R33 and also R34 GTR fit the C34. Apparently all the standard GTR seats are nice and low in the Stagea
  10. take it to a brake specialist and get them to replace the nipple. no need to change the calliper
  11. or you could just adjust the diff you have to remove the backlash. but there are lots of bits in the driveline that can cause clunks, you also need to look at tailshaft centre bearing and uni joint and the cv joints. And potentially any of the rear end bushes including control arm and subframe anything that can move when it shouldn't might clunk
  12. Thanks Terry...just post up in here or let Christian know directly if something doesn't get actioned; there are a lot of sections and mods do come and go...
  13. actually there can be very little or even no preload depending on the spring length and ride height, that's why a lot of springs rattle and why some people need helper springs to keep it all preloaded. I still wouldn't take the top hat off without spring compressors unless I was sure there was no preload, that would be quite exciting
  14. wow you are travelling a bit at the moment Genelle! We regularly have people based in Wagga Wagga, not sure who is active on here atm.
  15. fkin A! its a difficult job on the floor plug often super tight may need to remove cat back to get at it with enough leverage and then you need to refill the damn thing from below, and fluid doesn't like travelling uphill. dead easy on a hoist with the right tools
  16. lol that sounds surprisingly likely
  17. good choice...there are a couple of jobs that are just not worth the trouble compared to a minimal cost for getting them done
  18. lol sorry no awesome council couch party this year....I've got more work to do than time before Targa High Country
  19. I can't see why the surge tank would be a problem. You may not be happy with Brad but that doesn't make his aluminium corrode. Plus I've been running one of his tanks about 12mths longer than you without any issues, there are plenty of them out there. I think you need to look somewhere else. Feel free to point and laugh if I'm wrong
  20. see what I did there? anyway...go race at Bathurst! Its great.
