  1. Oh and once you put a z32 on you need stickers, get as many stickers on that bitch as you can its like 10rwkw per sticker
  2. Farken jeezuz, what is with all the questions about a z32 on an Na? Yes it will increase your power, it's an awesome upgrade....... I have one for sale and you will need to buy it ASAP, also I have a volt meter that should add another 10rwkw to Na motors, oh and with a z32 on your car you will need a better water temp gauge, by adding one you should see the full potential of a z32.
  3. Whoever told you a z32 is an upgrade for a 20de needs to stop giving advise because they are stupid, and AFM upgrade is only needed when you have exceeded the current AFM's ability to read the amount of air going into the engine. Don't waste your money increasing power in the 20de because it would be so minor you wouldn't even notice a difference until you spent over 2 or 3 THOUSAND dollars. For example : extractors and exhaust, properly setup cold air intake, coolant bypasses, bigger throttle body.... All those will cost you about $500 all up and you won't even notice a difference, will just sound different, to get better power you will need head porting and polishing, head shaving, oversize valves, cams, cam gears and then a tune, and thats just a few of the things needed and all up will cost around $3000. Don't waste your money, build a spastic turbo motor over your p-plate years and have fun when you can drop a real engine in.
  4. Z32 AFM is a standard Nissan item....they come from the z32 300zx
  5. It's hurting because the question is just.....so......retarted it's hard to even read, an AFM simply reads and tells the ecu how much air is flowing into the engine, hence the name air flow meter, your question lines up the same as if you asked us if you put a new water temp gauge in would it reduce your water temp..... Now to increase power in an NA there is a whole dedicated thread on it, and no I don't think you will ever hit power figures that will require an AFM change.
  6. Dam, so disappointed he's not really wasting his money
  7. Your kidding right.......please put down the crack pipe, now when you sober up you need to realise that power gains in a Na motor are all about head work, and I hope you have deep pockets to pull power out of a 20de
  8. U sure its genuine Nismo?, ive never seen a genuine Nismo 400R bar without the vents and mesh already cut out next to the indicators, yours is just solid there. or is it just a sticker over it or somethin?
  9. Unfortunatley its just how plastic is, it will never look the same again if its faded in some spots. best you can do is take em off the car and try to re-clear coat them. but it may just ruin them, if you chose to buy some i have a set here in SA in good condition off a 98 GTT, unfortunatley at the rear its not just the plastic that part is attached to the quater glass.
  10. Agreed, a loud tick that increases with revs is baaaad......sometimes.......its not really a tick if it quiet then is it, more of a click bang lol and yes lol looks like he vanished...or forgot his password so i guess we will never know
  11. This is some of the dumbest advise ive ever read on SAU, seriously if you know nothing about engines or diagnosing please just keep it to yourself. And the reason Im harsh when it comes to advise giving is because the wrong advise will always lead to worse problems and more expensive repairs... Please, for the love of god, if you know so little about an RB engine that you think it could be apex seals in a piston engine, you need to stay the hell away from cars.
  12. you know its illegal to sell seatbelts right
  13. Whats a c34? do u mean the stagea cluster?
  14. have a few sets available mate, pm me if still needed
  15. Have a series 1.5 front bar in SA, its the s1 with the lip, needs a respray as it has scratches and paint fading
  16. simon already had that setup, mayb ask him
  17. simmo it just so happens I have a spare neo top end now, I still have the head from the R33 drift car and 2 good RB30's sitting in the yard waiting to be thrashed. I say we slap em together and get decs to tune em and finally see which is better...... anyone for a bet?
  18. thats like saying solid lifters and better springs with bigger ports in the head is not enough proof that its better....wtf? If we all go by your argument there is no point in buying titanium springs and the rest because "its not much better in a standard motor". Your right ITS NOT, but it gives you the ABILITY to put higher power through the head........come on guys wake up, if you put both heads next to each other on a 30 bottom end with no mods the neo will slightly out perform the r33 head, but when you go to MAXIMUM power you can put through the head the neo will handle a huge amount more thatn the 33 head before it will need modification, thats just logic. you cant say "Usain Bolt MIGHT be faster than me in a foot race, but Ive never raced him so theres no proof"
  19. did you buy it?
  20. dude the thread is a year old, and no its a beeR kit, it needed no modification. If your after a kit I have one in SA that was on the Z Imports car, will bolt on perfectly.
  21. have a white rear bar if you cant find one in grey.
  22. Firstly Mate a good example sells for 7 to 9k so unless yours has gold plating somewhere you will be sorely disappointed and angry at people who offer you a realistic figure, secondly your for sale ad is horrible, no details on the car at all not even what colour it is, is that how you post up ads for immaculate cars?
  23. Whether you were driving dangerously or not does not give him the right to do what he did, report what he did and if they ask you why you think he did it just play dumb, but they will look at your car and driving history as they will his because its all here say.
  24. Come on guys really? It would never blow blue smoke unless there is OIL IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER........ A blown cooler pipe will NOT cause oil to pour into the cylinders, only a few things could cause the problem stated and judging by the description it sounds like a blown piston, however u start with the cheap stuff, Pull out the plugs first, look at the condition of the plugs, if the are covered in oil it will confirm you have oil getting into the engine before the intake manifold, if only one or two plugs are covered n oil then it an internal issue localised to those cylinders. If you hav an exploded plug then its lookin bad for the motor, Next do a compression test, if all cylinders come up good its more likely to be turbo or valve stem seals, start with those simple checks then let us kno what results you get
  25. Ok let's look at FACTS, direct bolt on of either head onto the same 30 block the neo head WILL outflow the R33 head, not by much but it WILL.. Secondly the neo head has a higher power potential, what I mean is if everything is left standard on both heads the neo will be able to handle more boost and higher power levels. Now.. WMDC35 yes the manifold from a neo will bolt onto a 33 head but the ports don't match, neo has larger ports. The neo head is superior in any way you look at it.
