  1. Its not only the market, but Nistune haven't moved into anything with a CAN Bus electronics. Stuck in tractor land....
  2. The way I see it you guys have these options- A) Go to the Russians. They might be crazy enough to pay for someone to do all the work (on the other side of the world they're probably sayin: Австралийцы достаточно безумен, чтобы сделать это ) B) Get G-Zone or who ever to licence their technology and some workshop in Aus buy the set up off them. C) Deal with what you got, because I don't think anyone in Aus is going to crack it. Edit D) Motec. forgot about that..... Thoughts?
  3. Definitely your car Terry - I think a change of profile pic is in order. When was this SAU NSW concourse? Bugger I missed out, I really should get the membership form in pronto! Great thread idea too Terry, will contribute once I get my car back!
  4. agreed ^^^ I've got awesome springs- customised on topic - I've done nothing to my Stagea today. I can't drive it. I'm starting to get withdrawal from not having it in my garage!
  5. Same as a 2003 350z. That''ll get you the filter at Autoshit/supershit etc etc... Think its the same as a 200sx too, but just ask for the 350z. or go to Nissan and get Genuine.... I know your new mate, next time try a search- plenty of info on here including about the oil filter
  6. Was looking forward to the turbo conversion of this car. Sad to see you decided to sell. Good luck- its a very clean looking Z33.
  7. Had a Yellow Coupe as my First car. Sold it for $1000 (bought it for $500) Got No idea if its still around. JWB-882 Chassis #000785 Thanks for the Vid OP - many happy memories for me.
  8. when my car is running.....
  9. It's a blokes name- Deatsch is his last name. I have 600's and am not worried in the slightest. So many cars in the US running them without a problem. Unless you have Pics or proof.... The 800s had a bad batch a while back and were replaced.
  10. Mark from Abbey motorsports has received my ECU file, and is now sending it on to Uprev in the US of A.
  11. How long till I see a laptop hooked up to your ECU.....? Never ever, ever ever, ever....?
  12. Well, today I dumped the ECU with the UPREV software and cable. 3 and a bit hours of waiting! Oh well. its done now. I have emailed it off to Abbey Motorsports in the UK. They are going to tell me if I can use the uprev software, which I am almost certain I can, and give me something able to be tuned and flashed! Ever wondered how big an ECU was...? The file I have is just 1mb of binary. For a very complex machine, the file is kinda small I thought.... In other news, I'm still waiting for this fabrication to be done....
  13. skoda with audi badge = commodore with chev badge....
  14. Agree- Stainless is a good idea, I'll mention it to them. Tuning, nothing much really. Enquiring if some tuners will use the Uprev software. I don't really want to dump the ECU until the car is back running. It needs good battery voltage to do so, otherwise the process won't run. Having a driveable car is a priority!
  15. Just the turbo piping to the intercooler, and some work to the exhaust. Should be pretty straight forward.
  16. Well, Intercooler is mounted up, with the intake piping post intercooler OK. Quite neat. I'll get pics when I can. Was fun buzzing a hole in the front member to fit the cooler.... Custom parts should be sorted early next week, so hopefully it'll be on the road by mid next week. Spotted 4 NM35's at Stagea Garage this morning! Good to see Spoolin back on the road!
  17. we're just more vocal.... Noisy minority maybe...?
  18. These people http://www.tunehouse.com.au/ or http://www.belgarage.com.au/ I have never had any work done by either, and don't know the reputations, but have to say both don't look like a cheap option.
  19. Love the pics! Spotted the red Damo!!!! Can't wait to hit the track once finished.
  20. Agreed Scotty, but I don't see anyone making those spacers for vq35's. The Idea of the plenum spacer (in the pic above) is that cyl 1 and 2 are starved of air in the stock position. They are pinched into the front. By raising the Plenum, it allows better breathing for the front cylinders. Thats the idea anyway. After saying all that, I don't have one, nor will I bother
  21. Nice Damo!!!! Must hold Boost a bit better now then!
  22. Ok, I think people are confusing two different types of spacer. The one Iain has, goes beneath the inlet manifold and has a row of 6 holes, right? And the OP is looking for a 5/16ths spacer, which generally looks like this- correct? Truth is, I don't know anyone with a VQ25DD with a manifold spacer, and don't know if they are the same plenum. Good luck OP. Heres one for sale: linky
  23. Car is still in bits- its a no-go for me Post up the time slips guys - give us something to aim for!
  24. All depends on how much low you have. The moar low, the bigger offset you can tuck in- to a point. If you dropped Ironpaws car 1 inch all round, the wheels would be tucked in and IMO wouldn't look great. Just type in "wheel offset calculator" into Google, and that will tell you how much it will change by. Stock is 17x7 +45. Go from there. We have seen up to 18x9.5 +30... or maybe even a tougher offset on M35s.
  25. Nope. - Poncams. Strange but true, I double taked the first time too http://www.nengun.com/tomei/pon-camshafts
