  1. Thread needs more pics of ghey 19x8.5 cars..... Thanks Andy!
  2. Lets face it, the arx isn't the looker of the m35 range. Amirite Scotty?
  3. I thought the GTR was bought purely for spares for the new found love- Stagea.
  4. My 2c First, the one car i have seen with 19x10+ wheels looked horrible. To add, it was also dangerous. Second, people think buying wide rims and putting Ling Long tyres on them makes them a handling God. I'll take 30mm smaller, quality tyres over china spec any day. And Christian, maybe you should check out what fits before offering advice. Not many of us are StanceNation orientated.
  5. What did you do to your stagea today! Results fkn!
  6. Don't worry, 19x8.5 here. I'll be the ghey with you. 18s are for S/R chassis.
  7. Sure, if you want to ruin you nice civil daily drive. Or what's your plans?
  8. Also saw BB r34 gtr on lady game drive, down near lane cove NP.
  9. I'm not sure what ratio the cvt is, but if your after something civil, then source a 350z manual vlsd, or something more serious, the quaife. The output shafts have different splines, so you can't just change the centre. Or save your money for when the cvt goes wrong, cause it will at some stage.
  10. Yup, it's just a Wakefield speed off the streets day. $120 plus aasa licence if you dont have one. It's not busy, no bookings turn up on the day. Come down and put it on the track if you have it free.
  11. It might just be a sound like the nismo clutch. I have one, and the thing makes the gearbox make a terrible noise on decel, at 2200-2000. You can read about it on the nismo website itself as a noted characteristic.
  12. I *think* you'll be in the suspension with that mate. Run it through the wheel calculator and measure up the inside clearance.
  13. 31st march..... Awful close to 1st April.
  14. Yup, comp test ASAP. The oil got there somehow, and I hope that somehow is from turbo seal, not excess crankcase pressure. That would be from cracked ring lands, or pistons. Having a big over boost doesn't do it any favours. As Scotty said, you'll need to clean the whole intake out, and flush with kero including the fmic. That way you can see if it comes back.
  15. Well, thanks to SAU NSW, and Pezhead, our pres, I have rented a couple of go pros, and a lap timer. Apparently he can put he two together and have one of those cool data overlay things, that'll make me look like a pro! Or film some awesome moments and tell me how much of a pusseh I am I gave the car a detail, de contaminate, clay bar, and using a random orbital, cut/polish, and a wax. Looks great I think. A least ill look good, if not being fast!
  16. From memory some different coolant sensors are used between the models, so we had to swap them. Are you still getting the P0340? Google result, but I'm sure you've already covered this off: Possible causes - Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor - Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted - Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection - Faulty starter motor - Starting system circuit - Dead (Weak) battery Read more: http://nissanhelp.com/diy/obd_codes/p0340_nissan.html#ixzz2PdR0s5UA
  17. Ah... same person. Did you actually clear the ECU error codes before starting the car again? Some of the sensors on the 350z are different, and have to swap them over to fit the V35 loom. I know, because we did a V35 VQ35de into a 350z. Did you check that out?
  18. Do want to be part of Fatzlap 2013. Will have to sort it with work and see how I go.
  19. Your bed? What effect does E85 have on plug range? I would have thought E85 would have allowed for a hotter range (colder than stock, but not an 8) plug due to its Octane rating.
  20. I'll grab one of the clubs Go-Pros and get some footage. Editing might just take a little while. My face is too pretty to be smeared all over the armco
  21. It can't hurt. I've used the stuff before, and had squeal, not used it and had no squeal. When you have the pads out, give them a small scrub on a concrete surface to take off the sheen. Helps them bed in a bit more.
  22. Shims are most important. Anything is going to squeal without shims. If they aren't installed properly, even in the slightest, you'll get squeal. Every QFM pads have bedding in instructions in the packet.
  23. +1 (If I can get work sorted)
