  3. Damn that is funny, "I can hear it spooling!!" hahahahahaha
  4. That's the hard part Eek, not driving it hard. Do the heavy duty clutches bite really hard and cause rough driving? or is it possible to still change smoothly with a heavy duty clutch?
  5. there's an excellent tutorial on how to do it on www.performance-mod.com has photos and descriptions...
  6. My clutch caught on fire today when with 5 people crammed in I dumped it at only 3,500rpm. It's still ok to drive but a bit spongy. Do you think it will last me another few weeks of daily driving until I move to Sydney in 4 weeks? Or should I replace it as soon as possible? What clutches do you recommend that are good and affordable?
  7. if you're running a BOV that vents to atmosphere then the engine would stall due to running rich.
  8. And that fluttering sound made by reversion is BAD for your turbo. It causes unnecessary back pressure on the turbine blades so if yours is making that sound your BOV is too tight. Loosen it up and it will do it's job better allowing the turbo to remain spooled during gear shifts.
  9. goddam that is a beautiful steering wheel... how much do they go for new in the shops?
  10. what sort of sound does it make with and with out the trumpet? It vents all the air to atmosphere right?
  11. I have a brand new one in perfect condition. Email me at [email protected] for more info. It was replaced by a momo steering wheel only a short time after the car rolled off the production line...
  12. The boot lid in standard form costs Y49,000 ($550) or in Carbon Fibre Y65,000 ($700+). There's no order info anywhere on the site. Here's their email addrees and phone number. [email protected] Their phone number: Tokyo area code(03)-3649-3088

  15. does the GTR key work when cut for a GTS-t?
  16. This is exactly what I envisaged for the Victorian Skylines Australia Club. Social meets, drag meets, track days, show and shines, etc but it seems like it's all come to a grinding halt in the last month or two. R31 Skyline Chick: The club is setup in terms of incorporation but the rest is still pending. If I wasn't living interstate I'd volunteer to rego the ABN, open a bank account and set up a PO Box because once these little things are done the club can take memberships. And like meggala said, once we hit 30 or 40 members (that won't take long judging by the enthusiasm shown above) we'll get CAMS affiliation and then run some great events and meets.
  17. Leewah do you work for ice? If so what's your name?
