  1. please tell me you're joking fatz
  2. Yep great day. I blew my budget by buying a GTR cap for $14 but hey it was worth it. Plus at least the dyno run diagnosed a problem with my rb25. Loved see a CF bonnet going onto Marks car....it was a perfect example of a sleeper until that bonnet went on! hahaha
  3. Anyone up for an early morning run through the twisty national park to Woollongong this Sunday? Nothing like driving in the crisp morning air with no traffic around. I'm sure there's already a few of you keen to go so drop your names in here... Meeting place: Sylvania Macdonalds on Princes Hwy Time: 7:30am for 8:00am departure
  4. Question: which is the better track for my first time out on the track; EC or Wakefield?
  5. Hey guys do you you know where I can go to buy a momo steering wheel and boss kit? Is it easy to fit or should it be done by a pro? Also, where can I get a new Recaro or similar seat (ie Bride) from? Thanks, I'm kinda new to Sydney so don't know the best places to get these items. Cheers, Grim.
  6. Well with my gas fitting bleed valve I can open it up to a maximum of 15psi (tried it once then never again!) or I keep it at a constant 10psi. The only difference from stock is that it lets the boost come on much quicker/earlier...
  7. here's how to make and install your own boost controller. If you don't want an in-dash on/off switch just skip installing the solenoid. http://www.performance-mod.com/nuke/html/m...=article&sid=16
  8. Priced for quick and easy sale R33 GTS-t Series 1 1993: ECU - $SOLD Factory Airbox and panel filter - $100 (Sydney pickup only) Factory Intercooler and all piping - $150 (Sydney pickup only) or make an offer. Craig 0410 500 719
  9. Just buy a natural gas fitting (like the ones on BBQ gas lines) and use that to control how much air you bleed. That's what I'm running and boost comes on at 3500rpm and peaks at 12psi...and it is fully adjustable...just turn the dial. Total cost, about $20.
  10. Cool. So you go out and do maybe 5 laps in a session? I can imagine after each session you'd be exhausted from the constant adrenaline rush! I'll look into the helmets and convince the boss I NEED a day off
  11. Hey guys I'm interested in coming for a blat on the track but I've never been before. For $180 what do you get? plenty of time out on the track? a professional driver to give advice? what about the full face helmet...do you guys own yours or hire it?
  12. will the whole track be open for a few quick timed laps? or will the day e just for drags and the hill climb?
  13. ok the vid is up: http://www.performance-mod.com/temp_images/Bathurst 15 July cruise.WMV://http://www.performance-mod.com/temp...July cruise.WMV://http://www.performance-mod.com/temp...July cruise.WMV I'm sorry bout the quality and the filetype. Best I could do in such a short time. I lost my copy of Adobe Premiere so was forced to use Windows Movie Maker built into windowsXP. It goes for 12 min and shows all the cars, the cruise along the backroads to bathurst, and the full Mt Panorama track from multiple angles. I suggest you DON"T watch it full screen cos you can't tell whats happening with all the pixels. Just keep it small It's 9Mb.
  14. If these are still available in a few weeks I'll take em. Need to wait until next financial year to get some cash together for them...
  15. MM2death if you're getting 192rwkw out of the stock cooler then you're very lucky. Your stock cooler would definately be the weak link in your setup so I'd say at 13psi your stock cooler would be getting heat soaked within a few seconds of max boost.
  16. OK I'll upload the video onto my site for you guys to download. Problem is the video is 12 minutes long after editing and so I've had to make it into a small poor quality file so I can upload it (as I'm on a 33.6k connection)
  17. That was one of the best cruises I've ever been on! Thanks for showing us that back way to Bathurst Roman33T....it was awesome! The mountain was fantastic...I never realised just how twisty and steep it is. I'm compiling a video of the cruise...it sould be ready for download tomorrow. The cruise raised over $700 so that's about $20 per car. Awesome day...good to meet you all! Craig aka Grim BIOHZD
  18. Your factory boost guage sounds like it's completely out of whack. You might have to take the dash out and fix it. When idling it should be on about -4 because no boost pressure is made while idling...it's all vacuum.
  19. Pred, my stereo has a silver border for the face plate that nicely covers up the little gap you can see. But your right that it's hard to see if try to read corrections or revs. But I was after a 'stealth' install. Enrico, the flip cover is part of the factory compartment that came with the car...I just cut it to mount the safc inside it so the front flap can close up and cover it.
  20. it's got sumthing to do with the synchros....hope that helps
  21. Here's where I mounted mine but you have a double din or there's this soarer:
  22. I'll try what jim-x suggested and up it to 10%
  23. I thought that was cos your BOV was mounted and sealed badly and was leaking air. plus i don't think we tried very hard to tune the dec-air feature....
  24. hahahaha yeah baby! that's the shiznit!! ummm what size is that tshirt? looks about size 2.
