Pot holes and gravel is EXACTLY what we like... four wheel drive to the fore!
BUT, with the roads degrading every year, more and more of the older, less easily handle cars are finding it difficult to stay on the road, therefore we seem to get more downgrades or just cars off, which is no good to anyone. Wouldn't you agree? Witness, what, 4 cars off on one corner at Oyster Cove this year?
Personally, I reckon it's a good move in theory. I HATED the long liason drive up north on day 4, then lunch, then attacking Cethana when you're just starting to get tired. Bloody dangerous IMO. I can see the point with regard to the "duty of care" mentioned.
