  4. there was also an extremely rare twin cam head for the L20 4 cyl engine...i cant remember if it was HKS or nismo that made it though And SVO (ford motorsport division) make a stroker kit for the 460 cube big block V8.....as if 460 wasnt big enuff....it takes it out to 600 cubes!

  9. rsx 84....yes....doc 30 was correct..............proper way to fix the mech lsd....rebuild it......dodgy back yard mechanic way....flog the living bejesus out of it to try and ge the plates to free up.
  10. Open wheeling diffs will spin the other side wheel the other way when car is jacked up.....clutch pack type(plate) Lsd's will do the same just a little bit until the lsd unit kicks in(which is like 1/10th of a turn- not much) if the plates are not working properly like in RSX84's case, it will operate exactly like an open wheeler. because the slip is not limited.....this is assuming that his is a clutch type Lsd. If it is viscous, then im unsure how it works but my understanding is the the oil in the viscous unit is forced thru little valves in the unit thereby causing both wheels to turn because the oil does not freely flow.......so i dont know how it would act in a jacked up situation because you wont be able to exert enough force by hand to make it work correctly..... I know what I meant but I dont know if I have made it clear...
  11. Same brands as any oil you would use in a open wheeler diff....just that they formulate it specifically(sp?) for lsd's Same deal as engine oils....different formulas and viscosities for different applications.
  12. You dont use regular gearbox oil in Lsd's....they have a different oil in them to open wheeling diffs.
  13. when did gtr cam get the dent in his front guard? its quite large.....
  14. its been sitting a while, right? flog it a bit then change the oil...the plates are prolly seized and have only let go on one side....it should free up... but if it doesnt....u need a rebuild.
  15. You young guys forget that lc-lj toranas came out as GTR and GTR XU-1 but even so, let em put whatever badge they want on thier cars....they are the ones that look like fools......just laugh at them....
