318rwkw on 6psi boost? thats nice, what boost do the XR6T run standard? what other mods do you need to get 318rwkw out of a XR6T on 6si boost?

Did you admit you were speeding? Thats probably what he was trying to get you to do. Chances are he knew you were doing it, but knew he couldn't prove it so he did the next best thing, scare you - nothing worse than 'waiting' to get in trouble, sometimes worse than the punishment itself.

do any heater vents work? if you change 'mode' can you hear it behind the dash changing where its pointing the air?

I think Mallala is in S.A? I'm not saying i don't belive in the XR6T handling ability, i just need to see it with my own eyes, i'm sure you can appreciate that. I've been in an XR6 and the handling was nothing special... my mate had a XR6T (auto) for a day and said it went well but didn't handle to spectacular (he had a Subaru B4 at the time and reconed his B4 would leave it for dead around corners)

I remember reading prank saying if he enabled 3 letter search it would have a big speed impact... if thats the case, have it disabled by default, and under the search page, have a tickbox that will enable 3 letter search on a per search basis?

Ok i'll give you that then, didn't realise you could get XR6T that cheap. I can't bring my under 30k GTR because i paid ~40k for it... (18months ago)... I could use a R32 GTR, 30k it would be a pretty mean machine... but then its older once again.... 340rwkw out of $3,500? Thats very impressive, whats the list of mods/costs and tuning? Out of interest what fuel economy do you get (guessing its better than my GTR)? What handling mods have you done? hahah As above - what handling mods have you done? Have you been to any tracks in Vic? Philip Island? Calder? Sandown? Winton? If so what times with what mods.

You have a water cooled oil cooler? is that an Aus delivered GTR thing? if not what brand does it?

West: The clutch should be fine on the track, but if you want to be sure go for a squirt in the hills.

Use my experience, go a custom build single rather than a multiplate. My Jim Berry clutch is good. Expect to pay around the $1000 mark.

So if he applied more throttle he would of wheelspun more and i would of left an even bigger gap between us? Wheelspin doesn't equal speed.

Get them anyway, do a couple of sessions on street tyres and a couple of semis Thats if you have 2 sets of rims.

INASNT: I have the same tyres on my car - hankooks - 4 track days and i think about 20,000ks on my hankooks and still going... no chunks missing, and still another 10,000ks on them i recon. Mustn' be driving hard enough.

You use the fuel your car is tuned to run. High performance cars are usually tuned to run hi octane fuel. Check the manual. In the case of a skyline - Use 98RON only, unless you've had it tuned on lower RON fuel.

haha I don't get what they are using MD5 for. MD5 the original image as it is downloaded from the camera and send the MD5 sum with the photo to whereever it needs to go? The fault isn't of MD5 its of thier processes, or lack of.

There is a motor/actuator that opens/closes the vents when chaning 'modes' try it, change the mode from feet to face to top vent and listen closely (dont need to have engine running)

Nice videos, i like the sound, looks like fun to drive, but doesn't look quick, from that video I'd kill him, maybe because loosing traction isn't fast.

While i agree thats impressive to get 300rwkw out of 4k. I have about 270rwkw out of probably less than 4k of mods. exaust, adj cam gears, more boost, tune prob cost you 3k.... and thats on a 15 year old engine. Tear a GTR to shreads in performance? I highly doubt one of these 300rwkw 4k moded typhoons would tear my GTR to shreads. In a straight line it maybe close.. the 4k mods wouldn't include tyres, so we'd both still be on average street tyres, the 4wd would really help the GTR get the jump. Put a corner in front of the ford with some braking and i think the GTR would leave it behind. Haivng said that i do agree it would be more comfortable to drive day-in-day-out (althought i do love driving my GTR day-in-day-out now), no way i'd say it hace a nicer clasier interior than my R33 GTR. My mates XR6's gearsticks plastic surround lost a huge chunk of paint off it (less than a year old) my 10 year old interior is still pretty much spotless. The GTR seats (haven't sat in a typhoon seats so not sure what they come with? bucket or not?) are nice bucket seats that hold you into the seat and everyone that sits in it comments how nice they are to sit in.
