  1. West maybe try one of those 2nd hand tyre joints that a few people go to. I'm yet to try them but a mate has got some cheap tyres from there a few times, SP2's etc... I know Geoff gets his tyres from one as well. Your size tyre should be easy to get a decent set.
  2. Give him a break guys The XR6T aren't bad, that much displacement with a turbo? whos needs engineering? I do have trouble beliving they can work thier way around a race track faster than a skyline. In a straight line, sure, its been done many times so i belive it. Maybe your an awesome driver and you've got your car setup really well or that R33 GTR you beat around the track had problems or the driver didn't know how to drive? First time i went to the track in my GTR i got passed by a Ford Focus - because i was taking it mega easy, learning how my car handles and goes around a track. Your comparing a 2 year old ford model car with up to 15+ year old cars (thats how old the GTR RB26DETT engine is)... Also aussies still have a bit further to go with manufacturing tolerences... where holden and ford measure them in inches "close enough is good enough" Don't belive me tho, see attachment Having said that the XR6T is definatly value for money, if i needed 4 doors and more space then i'd be looking at one. My mates wifes terrirtory has the preimum sound, sounds disgraceful, must of used $1 speakers instead of 50c ones. Hope thats not the same system in the XR6T, nothing preimum about it.
  3. keep in mind for that power you'll also need bigger injectors, afms and a ecu.
  4. me too, bring it back
  5. Location and pictures will help you a lot.
  6. Its not as hard as it looks, lots of wires make it look scarey but hardest part is remembering which bolts go back where. If you really cant remember, grab a bunch of envolopes and label them with the bolts in so you know where they go back
  7. Mini cooper S or WRX
  8. Whole dash has to come out, allow 2-4 hours to do it. There is a detailed guide on how to do it on here by predator i think... have a search... follow that guide. Here are his photos he refers too (the photos died from the posts ages ago): http://gtr.ferni.net/misc/dash_removal/ I've done it a couple of times. Go buy a brand new natrad heater core from your local natrad dealer, cost you <$200. Good luck
  9. hahahahahah 2510's should make boost sooner than standard turbos, but they may run out of puff before redline. not sure about the rest of the stuff sorry.
  10. Must be something funky going on with the wastegates or something. Otherwise as the supercharger creates positive pressure at lower rpm, it would force air back to the turbos?
  11. Are you sure you're not from W.A?
  12. I've been running 260-270rwkw on my stock turbos/afms/inj for quite a while. I'd be aiming for closer to 400rwhp with those mods gunr32
  13. a delay would be nice, but its still better how it is now than without it. Also i get the border issue same as lwells. And it doesn't work within a search.
  14. Also make the avatars a bit bigger, same size as they used to be is good
  15. Yep, http://gtr.ferni.net/photos/09%20-%20calder%20park%205-2-05/
  16. yep give me a sec
  17. The fast reply button has a white border around it where as the others don't I fixed it up for you, see attachment.
  18. pfft lets compare icq numbers then, i don't think my clipboard can copy and past yours since its that long - 51639313 112866 Damn me only buying a skyline 18months ago. Gimmi a lower number
  19. no your right It should work in any browser, even ie. Just tried IE, and yeah i get the same error, but i have disabled the script alert stuff so its just a little yellow icon down the bottom left corner. Go through your ie settings - >advanced disable script debugging. If you needed it you'd know about it.
  20. all you people need to learn to cope with change you remind me of a bunch of old people...
  21. Good luck mate. Get a laptop, wireless and start playing poker
  22. As for the ATTESA, if you take off slowly in 1st, then plant your foot, you may get a tiny bit of wheel spin, but not much compared to if it was in rwd. In rwd it wouldn't stop spinning.
  23. Sorry Heath, 1 thing to say. Manufacturing Tolerances. Where close enough is good enough for Holden. But i have heard they are reducing the tolerances with the VE, maybe even to the same levels as the Japs!
