  1. The full race drift car apparently makes over 400kw. I will tell you how it goes asap but I have to wait for it to arrive, plus other bits. Should be interesting
  2. I just bought a 7670 for my 25, be interesting to see how it goes. They seem to be making full boost by 3500 on 25's and clearing 400kw easily. Certainly a game changer
  3. Has anyone else tried machining front lip off the pulley to 1mm over belt height to stop it climbing? Mine has never spat since (touchwood) and wondering if its coincidence or a fix. Also R32TT how high over the belt height does the ATI pulley lip sit?
  4. Might be a silly idea, but the restrictors weren't removed to fit bigger ones and forgotten about? Would line up with the problems. Unlikely though
  5. Depends on oil and pressure etc. I run 2.5 thou, with redline 15w/50 oil at about 70 psi I suggest blue printing bottom end. Plastiguages are shit No idea on factory spec
  6. Had a chat to Stao, very knowledgable fellow, basically im thinking about possibly settling with a .82 rear on my turbo to bring it on full boost by 5k. Not sure its worth the 2k extra on a new turbo for 500 revs improvement. Still up in the air lol
  7. There is an earth that goes to cam cover near amplifier from harness to coils check that? Ecu i thought earths to body where bracket mounts

  11. Aquamist are working on a kit the has a live map tracing failsafe, rather than the current under flow at start point and overflow at 100%. That would be totally foolproof. Aquamist kit has a turbine flow sensor with live flow gauge too

  13. In NSW, water injection is legal. Methanol injection is NOT, being 50/50 is a grey area as its still flammable.

  15. That is the sound of air leaking past a diaphram valve im guessing the one that only opens on vacuum being present. And sounds like a fairly small amount at that. Find the valve, and inspect. Not sure about the 34 ones but 33 is the round bit on top of canister
  16. Do you know if it was blueprinted or even measured up when they built it?
  17. How often do you clean your jet/s Darren? Iv been noticing mine losing a bit of flow after sitting for 3 or 4 weeks unused.

I guess the alfa syncros are kinda what rolls is on about, I had a 80' gtv alfa and the syncros are very odd, like bigger spaced dogs and the slip ring thing only lets it do half a turn ish before engaging, hence lots of crunching. That said I could smash it through gears like it was a dog box. But it never works well as a syncro box or a dog box lol
  19. The gearbox rebuilds fairly fiddly, mainly because you need to make special pullers and bits to get it apart. As for clutch im selling an almost brand new coppermix for very very cheap
  20. This seems like a smart idea, can you change wheels or anything too? Forking out 3k for a new turbo versus you tweaking mine up for a quarter of that seems good. I don't care if it's 500 revs laggier than a new one
  21. Im quite interested, what will you do to it? New wheels and tighter rear? Looking at dyno runs my 22psi is on at just over 5k, how much lower can you make this would you say? Id love it to come on hard at 4 on the dot if your able to do this? Also a bit more off boost would be mint. Keep in mind I have a 1.05 rear so that could go .83 with no ill effects? This just seems smarter if it will work, saves me 1500 bucks too

  23. You can wire the tps to suit different plug Bugger swapping out the whole harness?
  24. Im still unsure, What could you do to my current turbo for much better response Stao? And furthermore, I really like the efr 8374, but is it a bit on the big side for my levels? Just not sure what will come on faster and not be restricting ?? The hta seems promising too
