  1. On a side note, yes the 350Z is designed for long service intervals and to be honest 10,000km is not long at all, especially if you are using a good oil on a n/a engine, albeit a high revving one. Currently, here in the states Mobil is advetising its new oil range, with 3 different oils with different service intervals, being 7,500 miles = 12,000KM 10,000 miles = 16,000KM 15,000 miles = 24,000KM So I think the yanks are lazy, that and their fuel is shite, the cars run like a bucket of crap cause no one services them (I am just talking the tri-state area at the moment as I am yet to venture to far into other states). So I am sure that 10,000km's will be fine, hey change it more regularly if you want, it cannot harm anything!!!
  2. Stop driving it NOW!!!! You will bend valves. the problem IS that the oil pressure release valve is stuck or sticking, take it to a mechanic, they will need to remove the oil pump and sump most likely. Recommendation would be seeing as you are at Morayfield, take it to Peninsula Mechanical Repair at Clontarf, do not over rev it, ask for Simon or Tim, tell them Neill recommended them!!!
  3. Agree with most of the above. I got a set of Stanley USA 3/8 and 1/4 Metric and imperial over here for $65US... Then I bought some additional longer extensions for the big price of $15US with a lifetime warranty from Home Depot. Then I got a set of allen keys both metric and imperial... I need to get a decent job so I can come here more often and get tools...they are soooo cheap...I think I may be above the weight limit on my luggage though... Oh and back on topic You can't go wrong with a socket set, 3/8 drive I find easier to use than the 1/2 drive and I have all three sizes. I used the 1/4 for the little interior crap...
  4. I would contemplate purchasing this car if I was not out of the country... But I would really like to know the above...

  16. Sounds like a bunch of Americans... If the CIA or FBI are reading this, yes I mean it... I have actually seen a similar thing over here from a bunch of prebuscent wankers driving down 7th Avenue in Greenwich Village... Its amazing but still does not surprise me the stupidity of some people...what goes around comes around...farkers like that do NOT deserve any sort of car...

  20. The standard RB25 oil cooler, near the filter is prone to leaking only under extreme conditions from what I have heard, and this is a slow leak under a normal wet oil system
  21. OK so the trust kit uses the existing pipes on the inlet side...does the Blitz LM require a hole to be cut????
  22. Greddy from Nengun...$140 delivered I think from memory
  23. Vacuum guage won't be much use unless it shows positive ie boost... vacuum guage would only be useful on a N/A engine...so the GTS...put unsure why you would want it unless its a worked motor
