  14. All manufacturers quote power at the flywheel, so the 225 Gen III's are in fact 225 at the flywheel not the wheels, just a point of reference. And it is correct about drivetrain losses, it is also related to gearing and other factors such as fluids.
  15. Chapman and Chapman have been used by many mates, with high standard of work..sometimes you just need to be patient Charlies Motors, I have known David for years and their work is also very good Mercury, I have known Trent for a while and would recommend for good work and good service, there are plenty of places around, just follow GENUINE advice and not mates who have NFI
  16. Some people really have NFI...
  17. Drugs are bad mmmmmmmmmmkkkkkkkkkkaaaayyy

  21. Nice photos... So true of the M1...seems to be STACKS of forbies down the coast especially of late...maybe they are returning home after a weekend of bush bashing. I actually go to Fraser etc with some really good mates that have forbies, but the fact is they drive them and bought them to use them. The other fact is that they also have a drag car or two and a daily driver!! Oh and to sort of answer partly for a good mate, Cam uses his 4wd to go ont the beach...can't see a falcon doing that...even that 4wd one with about as much ground clearance as my last corolla...

    slow down...

Yes I may have miscontrued what your intentions are SilverR33...Krawler we have discussed it already bro. My point still is the law is there for a reason, some aspects yes are unreasonable...some of the public would disagree with that statement. the fact is that you bought an import and there are always going to be tools that want the traffic light drags. My point is that I thought most of us were of the level of intellegence whereby we know it is wrong and don't do it...and do not encourage the bahviour. Don't encourage it and it will decrease, it won't go away as there are always other wankers to take their place... I think that we need to be proactive, the fact is if you want to drive fast there ARE places to do it...you bought the car with the ability to go fast, use it in a safe environment, if you bought it as just a daily driver then I think your choice of car needs to be re-assessed. I just really think the SENIOR members, not just in time but age, should really set an example...

    slow down...

Go prove it at the track... Silver'sR33, You seem to have a very immature and niave view on things my friend...me thinks it would be a good time to put the opinion in the closet until some experience is there to back you up...mmmmkay As a newbie now would be a fine time to bite your tongue, step outside and find something else to do than spage all over the forum. You wanna street race and you even come close to my car, then you better have good insurance and a thick skull...
